BeeAktive has cared for my mum since her hospital discharge in May 2020 following a fall/hip fracture. We would not consider any other agency. The double-handed support we get from BeeAktive is vital to enabling mum to remain at home, where she is bedridden, doubly incontinent, with Alzheimer's.
Care at the sharp end, which is where it counts most, is excellent and this is reflected in their CQC rating, so don't be put off by the CQC overall 'needs improvement' rating at the time of this post. BeeAktive genuinely does listen (we had a couple of hiccups at the beginning which was completely sorted). We have continuity with 3 fantastic primary core carers 5 days a week and then BeeAktive rotate in from a small pool of secondary carers on the other 2 days, all of whom are excellent and slide seamlessly into caring for mum. I have gotten to know the key management team. They are supportive and genuinely committed to caring as a vocation, rather than purely for commercial gain.
