I would like to express my thanks for the all round care from all, at the great care company. The team that visited mum, the on going communications, the support they offered me and their commitment to continuity.
After my micro provider was priced out by the local council I experienced a company
that gave sub optimal care and to find the great care company was a relief.
They are approachable and kind , thank you all of you in your support and care of mum.

After two false starts with other care providers, we were finally allowed to select The Great Care Company. After the earlier delays, my wife was becoming more ill and from May 10th we were so lucky to have the care provided by The Great Care Company staff. Every member of staff has been
unbelievable! In my 86 years, I have never met such a kind, efficient and helpful team of people. The two staff who started our journey happened to be on shift on May 3rd when my wife passed away and were a great comfort to me, staying even when they had further calls to make.
I am in awe at the quality of the care my wife and I have received. Yes, they were caring for me too.
I feel that the secret lies in the company name. The Great Care Company. They certainly showed great care to us.

The carers are lovely and really helpful. They all seem really happy and brighten up the day with their visits. Our family would be lost without them. It's the reassurance that you get from knowing that you can rely on them to attend and provide a really good quality care. We have been so impressed

Very pleased with the service. Since my elderly mum started to get visits, it has not only helped with the challenges of daily life but also with her general well-being. Not only do they help with daily chores, but they are always reliable, friendly and take time to chat. The friendly chats are as
helpful as the more practical help.

My brother and I would like to thank and recommend The Great Care Company in York. We never expected our mother to willingly accept the level of care required, but she did, enabling her to live out her life where she wanted to be - at home. The girls were wonderful, kind, caring and professional.
They always treated her with dignity and allowed the time to share a genuine interest in her life. Thank you again.

Very happy with the service that my sister has received. The carers that visit are the same people each time which is really pleasing because consistency is really important to us. The service is vital to helping my sister remain independent and we are amazed by the empathy and attention that the

A fall and broken wrist led to us looking for a regular care service for our mother, after researching and contacting several providers we met with the Great Care Company. All contact and meetings were conducted in an easy to deal with and professional manner. Mum is not good with change so we were
anxious about starting home care for her as she can be stubborn and challenging, at times. We discussed this with the care company and they don’t push Mum to do things she doesn’t want to do, but they have achieved much more with her than any of us, as her children could have. The house is in a much cleaner condition, as is Mum! Now she is in the routine of having ‘visitors’ come and help her, it’s just become normal. It has also relieved some pressure on the family, juggling full-time jobs and childcare and living in another part of the country as we know someone is checking on her twice a day.

I have been very pleased with the quality of care provided for my parents over a difficult period. The two carers were competent, reliable and helpful. I am relieved that my father, in particular, felt comfortable with the care provided and that the carers quickly gained his trust. We would not
hesitate to use this company for further care. It was particularly good that their was just a team of two, with only very occasional substitution.

I find the care team to be excellent, with no complaints. In particular. one lady needs a special mention; she is great with Dad and very caring. However, the only frustration I have is regarding payment - I just don't understand why you can't operate with a direct debit facility.

We find it really hard to visit my mother and we are really pleased that she has the support of all the staff at The Great Care Company in York. She loves the girls that come to see her and always talks about how she enjoys the meals they cook for her. We've noticed such a difference in her, she has

The Great Care Company have assisted me in looking after my mum in our home, over the past year. They have always treated my mum with respect and dignity and tried to lift her spirits and make her smile. Having had several care companies over the years, this company are by far and away, the best.

I would recommend the Great Care Company to everyone. They have encouraged my husband to speak, how to move safely and used both professionalism and kindness. After every visit, they ask if there is anything else I want doing. The company are supportive, on the end of a phone and adaptable to our
needs. The staff are aware of the complex medical needs and are updating things constantly.

In my line of work, I have come across a number of care providers, and I would comfortably say that The Great Care Company are one of the best I have seen. Their team from top to bottom are so caring. My friend had support with them for some time before she sadly passed away. She required a lot of
support, but the carers and management were always happy to go above and beyond for her, doing lots of extra things for her such as her shopping, keeping her company and collecting medications. They even provided free visits for some extra companionship for her which was welcomed. They were amazing throughout the whole pandemic too, keeping everyone informed and keeping everything going.
