We have been using Third hand Carers for almost a year now and I cannot thank them enough for the excellent care they provide for my husband. All the carers are well trained, professional and extremely friendly and kind. We look forward to their daily visits as they are very helpful and caring. Most
of them go above and beyond what is asked of them and they never seem to hurry to leave even though we know how busy they are. They take their time and are always patient.
The carers are also very punctual and reliable and if there is a problem the office lets us know immediately. I find the management team very helpful and obliging.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have been with Third Hand Care for about 18 mths.
It's one of the best companies I've had for personal care. I have no faults with them,
The carers are extremely cheerful, always smiling and if you feeling down they do there very best to cheer you up.
The carers I get is excellent,
I have
also started having a carer to assist with shopping. It's very helpful as I can't do much in my wheelchair and hubby is thankful of the extra help with the lifting shopping.

The carers do me a world of good.

Carer team was punctual, diligent and courteous. All the carers were kind and considerate in treating a fragile, 87-year-old female patient. I have nothing but praise for them. The carers were well-trained and were familiar with the method for changing the catheter and protective pads of a patient
with double incontinence. They adhered to a strict hygiene routine at all times.

The nurses have all been helpful and willing to carry out my care. They leave when everything is tidy and clean. They always ask about my medication.

You send a variety of cares, some female and some male, always very cheerful and kind, who assist me to have a shower, for one hour on Tuesday AM, getting me into the shower, sponging my back and feet and helping me out and drying. They take me to my dressing room and put cream on my feet. I also
have a footbath on a Friday.
It is always a pleasant experience. I tell them about my life and we have some laughter.

This company tries very hard to deliver excellent care and I have to say they usually do. On the odd occasion, things go wrong, it is dealt with swiftly. I would definitely recommend this company.

The care we have received is excellent overall. My mother is treated with kindness and dignity. Management and staff always do their best to help with queries and requests. Everyone is very professional and friendly. Thank you so much!

Third Hand Care have been supporting my son for several months now. They have worked hard at getting to know him and his needs and are now considered family friends. They are always punctual, helpful and willing to support him in whatever he does from dance classes to swimming. The office staff
communicate well and are always helpful and friendly in dealing with them. We trust them implicitly with our son and the respite they provide is immeasurable.

I have no hesitation in praising the exceptionally high standard of the carers provided and the overall support service. The carers are most encouraging always cheerful, kind and gentle in particularly helping me to get into bed and out, using the zimmer frame, also helping me to dress and help with
personal hygiene including using a commode. They help and encourage me and are present when I do my physio exercises. The carers arrive promptly subject to the weather and the traffic. They do try to get back to me to let me know if they will be late. One small point it would be helpful to have their names before they are due to arrive.

Unfortunately, we've noticed a deterioration in the level of care that a couple of carers provide. I want to stress that this is not all of them but 2 specifically. 3 or 4 times I have come home after the carer has attended to Mum and the back door has been left wide open. There is one particular
carer who only spends 10 minutes washing Mum and I know that this isn't sufficient time. Blood is left under Mum's fingernails where she's had a nosebleed. There are other issues that I will raise separately. But again I wish to stress the majority of carers are great and we enjoy seeing them and the care they give.

We have been supported by carers from Third Hand Care for over a year now. Each and every carer who enters our home is warm, friendly, and compassionate. It is an absolute delight to see their interactions with my brain-injured husband. Even on his dark days when he is frustrated with his dependence
on others, they are professional and patient. We have used other agencies who were good but don’t come close to the consistent standard of care shown by third-hand care. They are excellent and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone needing home support.
