However varied I am quite happy with my service.
New carers are good, sometimes late and nice helpful people
I am happy with my care. The only thing I don't like is when it is wet. She brings in all the dirt on her shoes so the floors get dirty. I have told her but it still happens every time it is wet. Also she drops a lot of tablets on the floor and never picks them up. Also when she is having 2 days off together I don't get the same cares on the 2 days, but the care I get is very good.
My father has been cared for 4 times a day since returning home from hospital. In this time he has had regular carers that come 6 of the 7 days a week (usually). On the seventh day, a different set of carers attended. Thursday, 15 May 2025, was one of those days. On this day, the carers were here for less time than we are billed for, around 10 minutes of the 30 minutes. My father was not properly washed and positioned for overnight with his arm under his body. This caused discomfort, and also no urine bag as it was not emptied. The ratings are only applicable to the carers who are not the regular carers.
I am very pleased with most of my carers. I have a good relationship with my regular carers and they are able to understand when I am feeling low and need extra support from them. Unfortunately a bond is not made with my relief staff. I feel it would be moral boosting if management passed on to cares praise that I have given through the manger I have had contact with.
I have been caring for my neighbour for over 12 years, and after becoming bedbound, we had to request carers to attend to her 4 x per day. The previous care agency let her down, we are thankful we had Fushia Care to take over her care. Her carers have been with us for over 3 years they are amazing, caring, deal with her care, dignity and respect. I am advised promptly if there are any concerns. This has given the family peace of mind but most importantly the client trusts them. We are grateful, thank you.
I have found all the staff helpful and pleasant. The regularity of the carers suits us, and I can trust them all with the care of my mother and home.
Overall, the staff are very pleasant - carers and office staff. Although on a half-hour visit, frequently the carers are in and out in 15 minutes or less.
My husband has been receiving care from Fuchsia for 8 weeks now and the quality of care has been outstanding. All the carers have been lovely kind and considerate. He has been treated with dignity, compassion and respect. We have no complaints.
Fuchsia Homecare never let me know and their carers are kind and professional.
My wife has so many carers and they are all over and they are nice to talk to me.
My mum is very well looked after by all the carers. They have time to speak to mum and interact. The care is second to none. They treat mum with courtesy and dignity. Could not ask for any more. They always ask if I am okay we have a good bond and anything they feel mom needs they will speak to me. They are great with my grandchildren and grand-dog. They are like part of the family.
Excellent all-round service.
Fuchsia are exceptional. They have helped me massively. Helped all areas of my well-being. I'm exceptionally young compared to the typical age bracket but this has not stopped me. They have supported, helped and adapted the things trying to cater for my age and needs. Helping me try and gain and keep independence. This company are best care provider we have come across as a family. Highly recommend will never change until hopefully need is no more. Outstanding, fantastic, amazing people care all around!
Very happy with the carers we had for my partner. They washed, cleaned and changed his clothes every day. Also kept checking his catheter bag. They talked to him and had a laugh. They did get him walking with his frame. All the carers we saw were friendly day and night.
The care provided can be at different levels of skill set. The problems seem to be when someone goes off sick or on holiday. The cover provided is not always to a good standard. Some seem inexperienced. I am not impressed with the management, who seem to set the standard at a low level, looking at the vacancy advert on their own website. When you do complain (which is not very often) they make excuses, but you can’t excuse the inexcusable. Just saying sorry all the time is not good enough.
Overall very happy with the carers, however on the odd occasion when we have a change of carers they seem to be late, especially in the morning visit, for example, there was a situation when the carers arrived and I had gone out and my mother had to wait in bed until they came. We understand that if something happens they cannot control it, however, if someone could have rang us to let us know they were going to be late it would have eased our minds.
I have found my mum's carers kind, patient and very diligent. It gives me peace of mind to know she is in safe hands, with someone popping in every day. If there is any concern they ring me straight away. Very pleased.
Fuschia Care are a wonderful care company providing a compassionate and empathetic service. I am truly grateful that they have been a part of my dear father's life. They have been very supportive throughout difficult times and offer a warm and kind response when needed.
Over and above, very satisfied.
