The care team visited our family 3 times each day for 5 months. All carers entered our home professionally and with respect. We were assigned 2 main carers, with different staff covering only when our main carers enjoyed their well earnt 2 days off. Our main team quietly cared for our mother.
They respected her needs and calmly dealt with her anxiety. They were intuitive to her moods and communicated with her effectively despite her severe dementia and communication impairment. Our mother's dignity was always of utmost importance to the carers. Each day they greeted our mother and the whole family with a smile. They work long hours for little reward, but this was never evident. We will all miss the team and will be forever grateful for their invaluable support during a difficult time in our lives.
