View Full Details of Helping Hands Home Care (Beverley)Carers are all, minus one, excellent. Totally reliable, prompt, and see jobs which need doing. One young carer is especially good, and following a conversation with the Beverley office yesterday, she will visit us every weekday morning in the future. There are two others whom we relate to, and they will visit at weekends. The one carer we had problems with will not visit us any more. She was pleasant enough, but due her own physical problems, she could not do enough for us. We have care for one hour each morning, from 7.30 am. We originally had half an hour each evening, but found that we did not need this.
Special mention and recognition to be given to a particular staff member who currently cares for my mother and father in her attentive, professional and more importantly down to earth friendly manner. Nothing is too much trouble for her and always makes them smile.
Some timings are a bit out (understandable) and attention to dental health is inconsistent. More effort required to ensure good diet, although fluids are provided as required. Mum likes the company as much as the service.
I have been using Helping Hands for live in care for my, now, 100 year old father. The main requirement has been for someone to be with my father, keep him company as well as cook and look after him and take him out and about the village from time to time. My father and I have been happy with the carers provided over that time. They all are professionals and have that certain quality that provides real friendly care. I have no doubt in recommending them to you.
I will simply say that I am happy so far and have no complaints at all. Everyone connected with Helping Hands seem helpful and compassionate. And importantly not patronizing but instead, respectful with a welcome sense of humor .
No problems cater very polite etc we discussed my needs and chatted which was the reason for the visit.I seemed to do most of the talk.she is from the town so I could tell her about living in a village.
Lovely carer who came to look after my husband who has dementia and can be quite difficult, she really went above and beyond. Excellent service, would recommend them to anyone. Really pleased as it gives me the break I need.
A fabulous domiciliary job done at my Mothers. The carer is a pleasure to have in the home. Takes care of general cleaning and ironing bed changes etc. Mum and Dad look forward to their visit and always on time and enjoy a little chat. A fab job done.
After an initial period, the service has settled into an efficient and very satisfying person, with all carers arriving on time and being attentive, patient and caring. Your care person was particularly thoughtful and caring and went "the extra mile".
I am very happy with the service I receive and I would not be without it.
This is to confirm we have had excellent service from Helping Hands Home Care (Beverley) since starting with them first over two years ago. All the carers who carry out the visits each morning for domiciliary care are very pleasant, thoughtful and professional in their work. We have had Helping Hands Home Care (Beverley) name mentioned are the church we normally attend.
Some carers are very good. Overall service is let down by the increasing number of different carers visiting each week which since our mother lives with Alzheimer's is not helpful. Communication between the office and the client's daughters could improve, please.
Well looked after and very kind and caring.
Very helpful and caring. Performs duties with good effort and good time management. Pleasant and approachable.
Reliable and useful service.
My carers have been excellent and looked after me well. I like having the same ones when possible and we get to know each other. Well done to them all.
Helping Hands Home Care (Beverley) has been used by me over the last few years from three different sources. Helping Hands Home Care (Beverley) is much the best organisation of those 3 locally obtained services. At a recent crisis for my daughter/carer's return during the rail strikes Helping Hands Home Care (Beverley) were very flexible in changing/covering my already arranged slots of staff so I was looked after (hard job organising variable needs/part-time staff/wide travel area) Most carers are very good.
Your staff are very kind and caring and always willing to do anything required we as a family really appreciate the help you provide to our mother since she fell and broke he hip.
We have now got the arrangements we require and are quite happy with the service and care my wife is receiving.
I'm very happy with Helping Hands Home Care (Beverley & Hull), very easy to book a carer. The carers always on time and very polite. I get a break every 4 weeks from caring for my wife so I book helping hands for 2 one hour visit every 4 weeks. My wife gets on with the carer very good, she is outstanding and very caring. I don't need to worry if there going to turn up because I know they will turn up, when I get in from my trip there is nothing for me to do because the carer has done everything needed.I rate helping hands 10/10 service is outstanding and great.
