Choosing a care provider for my dad was made easier as we had previous experience of the excellent care delivered by Caring Folk for my mums end of life care. Dad's care became a requirement following his diagnosis of Dementia which slowly affected his ability to remain independent . A very proud
and independent man dad initially found the acceptance of care very difficult. Caring Folk were sensitive to this from the outset, during their Initial assessment and as his care needs increased. Caring Folk worked together with dad and family members to go at dads pace. All communications were made easy between Caring Folk, dad and family members. They were responsive to all dad's care needs as they inevitably changed over time. Dad gradually realised how Caring Folk could help him to remain at home and be as independent as possible which is where he wanted to be . A fabulous team of carers who enriched dad's life with their sensitivity, care , company and humour which he loved.

Nearly 4 years ago I made a call to Caring Folk after they were highly recommended to come help me look after my mum who was diagnosed with dementia, My dad was not keen to start, but Jess settled our minds and helped us get set up, to start with it was a few times a week but as mum deteriorated
bit by bit Caring Folk added extra to help mums every needs, The girls were a breath of fresh air coming in and lifting the mood not just for mum but dad and myself as well, they were often heard singing along to the radio, they became part of the family. The office girls were always on hand if needed, the support given by them to get mums needs met regarding equipment at every level etc was only a phone call away, Sadly we lost my lovely mum not long ago, the house is now very quiet without the girls coming and going, we could not have managed without Caring Folk the love and care and support right to the end was exceptional, I could not recommend them highly enough.

I cannot thank each and every carer enough for the attention they have shown to Paul over the last 12 months. They treated him with dignity and always with a smile on their face. He was treated more like friend. I think he actually looked forward to them coming!
They were also very helpful to me
too. Sitting with Paul for a few hours so I could get out for a while.
Helping out with little jobs and a shoulder to cry on when I was feeling a bit low.
The management went out of their way to make sure nothing was missed. Not one single visit was cancelled.
I really don't know how I could have coped without them. They have helped me through the most difficult time of my life.
I would highly recommend Caringfolk to anyone who needs day to day care.

If I could give this fabulous caring care team a thousand stars I would! Excellent service the care from this team of wonderful people was 2nd to none after getting in touch to look after our mum the love and support we had was mind blowing to reassuring us how and what they provided even ordering
prescriptions food shopping bathing etc I can't thank this company enough I would definitely recommend this service one hundred percent! Thanks to Kirsty and girls who was always on call if I needed any help with questions lots of love unfortunately now our mum is in a care home .

Caring Folk provided support to my dad for about 9 months I could not have wished for a better company or people to put my trust with him, he absolutely loved and could not wait for his visits, he would of liked them 24hrs a day I am so completely happy that this company enabled my dad to stay in
the family home which was his wish as he did not want to go in a care home the communication with this company was brilliant I went to work knowing he was been looked after and very happy

Thank you for your continuous commitment & support throughout my mums care in her own home. Your team, have adapted so well to meet my mums changing needs from when you first started care through to EOL care. It has been really fantastic to witness the continuous high levels of service delivery.

Caring Folk provided support to my dad for about 16 months whilst he was still living independently at home. During this time, they accommodated many changes to his needs and supported us to manage some difficult times as his mobility deteriorated and needed increased support. The whole team were
really compassionate and kind and would have a joke with my dad and he looked forward to their visits. This obviously made it much easier for me knowing that we could place our trust in them, something that can feel quite difficult initially when adjusting to letting carers in to your home. I couldn't recommend Caring Folk enough, they were brilliant - thank you for everything you did for us!! :)

Our experience of Caring Folk has been amazing. We engaged their services in August 24 as part of a care package to get my Dad home from a long stay in hospital. They were waiting to meet the ambulance when Dad was brought home and assessed his needs straight away. The caring started immediately.
The package was for them to come in four times a day. It sounds dramatic but the first morning they came in it was like a host of angels had descended on the house. They chatted and made him feel at ease as they washed and dressed him. This continued for the following months until Dad went into a care home. They always treated him with dignity and respect and although they were there for Dad, they also checked that Mum was okay. Communication was fabulous so if something unusual was noticed during a visit, the next carer would know about it and follow it up. All the carers who came were excellent and did everything they could to support and guide us.

We cannot recommend Caring Folk (CF) enough. They have been amazing. The Team at CF worked hard to build trust with our uncle who has dementia and was initially reluctant to accept any care. They kept us fully informed and went over and above to make the situation easier for all concerned. They were
flexible in their approach and took into account our uncles needs and wishes. In the event of any issues CF were quick to respond and ensured positive outcomes.

Caring Folk were the rock of our family we had to ask for help with my mum having dementia at first she was all there but went down hill fast if it hadn't been for caring folk holding us up we too would have gone down, the care compassion understanding and individual care and kindness shown to my
mum was way above anything I could have expected each and every carer had something special something giving to offer her, sadly mum passed away and they they were still at her side right until the end saying thank you to theses girls will never be enough we owe them so much we I'll be forever grateful.

Excellent company and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs home care. Staff are amazing and really care about there customers, they will go above and beyond to help.
My auntie looked forward to seeing them every day. I knew my auntie was in good hands which in turn made myself less
worried.

This company is excellent. The care they gave my Auntie for 6 months before she had to go into a care home was second to none. Nothing was ever too much trouble and my Auntie was treated with respect and looked forward to the visits. Well done the manager and the team.

We have appreciated the care for my cousin over the last four years and it is doubtful she would have managed in her own home until the ripe old age of 99 years 11 months without Caring Folk Ltd.

My mum had vascular dementia and so was not an easy person to care for. Caring Folk looked after her with care and compassion at all times for over a year, always taking into account her problems. The office staff and management were always available and easy to work with, sometimes under quite
trying circumstances. Their communication was always excellent, and the staff quite often went above and beyond to ensure that mum was comfortable and well looked after.

My mother-in-law had vascular dementia and was in hospital for 5 months. I engaged with Caring Folk who were extremely supportive and helpful in helping with the process of bringing her home.
What a fabulous service throughout, the level of care was amazing, so thoughtful and caring towards my
mother-in-law also her husband, they supported them both. With dignity and respect, their service went beyond care, they became part of our extended family. Caring Folk enabled her to live the remainder of her life to the best of her ability, knowing she was loved and cared for with every visit which was 4 times a day. The girls brought happiness to the home with their warm outlook on life. Sadly we lost my mother-in-law Caring Folk cared right to the end very noticeable when 3 attended the funeral, such a lovely touch.
I would certainly recommend Caring Folk to anyone seeking care for a loved one, so much so that my mum has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's so am using Caring Folk myself.

We were very pleased with the service provided, all the staff were pleasant and helpful, and the managers and admin staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs! Overall we would certainly recommend the company.

In February 2023 my mother after a long spell in hospital was ready for discharge and we wanted to get her back home, we engaged Caring Folk through a social worker and the team from the off exceeded expectations. The level of care that was provided was outstanding with the carers being very
engaging and taking the time to get to know and have conversations with my mum about the local area, any issues we were informed and the all-round team were so easy to get on with. After a few months, Mum decided she wanted to go into care as she was becoming lonely in her own home, I actually think having people coming in made her want more company. A big thanks to the team for being there in this important stage of my mum's life and the whole care and office team are a credit to themselves and the industry, I would recommend them to anyone.

In my experience, this company provide outstanding care with kindness, expertise and personal service. I cannot praise them enough. They looked after my dad (and me) so very well. Thanks to them I had peace of mind knowing that he was being cared for. The company were able to adapt to Dad's changing
needs as his dementia progressed and this allowed him to die at home with dignity.
