The staff at Avenue Care, covering Rosyth, helped my Dad so much with
daily visits twice a day. They were always very reliable and always
communicated if an unavoidable delay was happening. My Dad required help
with daily washing, and this could have been a difficult experience for
him as he was a very proud man, but the Avenue Care staff treated him
with professionalism and compassion, allowing him to retain his sense of
humour and more importantly his dignity. As a family we cannot thank
each and everyone one of them enough for their care of our lovely Dad Mike.

Since Avenue gained the contract for caring for my mother they have
breached the agreed care agreement which was it had to be a female only
on her dialysis days which is Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. This is
due to her needing to have a shower in the morning before going. On
Saturday 8th the carer was a female but was very late so had not had
time for a shower. She has not managed to get showered since Thursday
6th April. She does not have a problem with the carers but will not
accept a male helping her have a shower. The rating for care is only due
to not being able to have a shower. She is happy with the staff.
