Sylvian Care domiciliary staff are professional, good humoured and friendly. The office staff respond promptly to any concerns I raise, and accommodate most scheduling changes that I request. The only thing I would change is to receive better communication when schedules are changed after the rotas
have been sent. However, this is a minor niggle when the rest of the service has been exemplary.

As a family, we are very happy with Sylvian Care as my mum's domiciliary carers. They are efficient and knowledgeable and we trust the carers to look after with her best interests in mind. They genuinely care about her, and are interested in her life.
Management at Sylvian are also kind and caring.
They have regular care reviews with me, and call frequently to discuss Mum's care and get the best for her. They are approachable and efficient.

My friend looked forward to the three daily visits from Sylvian carers. They were careful and sensitive when delivering personal care, prepared simple hot meals, undertook other caring tasks and chatted with her. They became her friends.
When I raised issues with the managers, quick actions were
taken and I was kept informed.

Sylvian Care have been superb at caring for my Dad. The team are all very friendly, punctual and attentive to detail. I feel very reassured with their services and look forward to staying with them for a long time.

From the initial contact through the assessment stages and then the care itself, Sylvian staff have been courteous and helpful. The carers were polite and attentive to my sister's needs and she told me that she enjoyed their visits. The company's online recording system enabled me to monitor, from
my holiday destination, each of the visits and any concerns that were being raised. They were even prepared to check that my cat was being fed! I will definitely be using them in future and would recommend them without hesitation.

We were lucky enough to use home care for approximately a year. The carers were all superb. They were gentle and attentive to my nan's every whim, and she was sometimes a handful due to having both dementia and Alzheimer's.
The management were excellent with keeping me up to date with all details,
and also very patient when the bill was due!
This company has the very best managers/people supplying the very
best care staff for the very best care!
They are punctual and do a proper handover to the next shift. They contacted me with any issues regarding my Nan's medication/food/physical and mental well-being.
Fantastic.
Will not hesitate to use them again if we ever need carers again.

My grandmother was being discharged from hospital for palliative care and required 24 hr care to be able to come home. Sylvian Care Southampton was recommended to us and was able to provide and start care within days so we could get her home as soon as possible.
The carers and the MD were
incredibly supportive to both myself and my grandmother and were so kind and gentle with her, especially when she began to deteriorate.
My Nana was able to pass away in her own home, which was her wish and this was only possible with the care provided by Sylvian Care.
I cannot find any fault and the dignity and respect they showed her was so lovely.
I could not recommend them highly enough. Even when we had a water shortage the MD brought some bottled water round, which shows how above and beyond they go for their clients.
A special thank you to the two carers that were involved mostly towards the end I know she really appreciated your gentleness.

Mum (84) has Alzheimer's. Following a fall and stay in hospital we decided on home care 4x a day as an alternative to a care home. We were initially concerned as to how mum would respond to strangers in the home however our experience with Sylvian has truly been a positive one. Once we decided on
Sylvian they attended the address that day to meet the family and later visited mum prior to her discharge from an assessment nursing home. The team were professional at this stage but what would the care delivery be like? Due to another fall we only had 10 days of care but during that time each pair of carers have been a credit to themselves and the organisation. They were respectful, friendly and treated my mum, who is bed or chair bound, with kindness and dignity. Sadly mum will now have to go into a care home, we would have preferred Sylvian continue to take care of her but mum's fall risk, when carers not present, was too great. Very impressed and thank you for your help and support.

My Grandmother has had a lovely experience with his care company. They have been very helpful with assisting my Nan. The carers are lovely and always do their best to support my Nan, and they go that extra mile to do more if needed.

Sylvian have been providing care for my wife since 2021 and although at first there were issues in respect of continuity of carers, these issues were dealt with satisfactorily, and at present, the service is consistent, with a small group of carers providing a high standard of care. It is pleasing
to note that we consider "our" carers to be friends.

I highly recommend Sylvian! They attract and retain top-notch, professional carers who carefully plan and implement individualised care plans. Not only do they provide outstanding care, but they also take a therapeutic approach, engaging my husband in physical and cognitive tasks. Their dedication
produces real results. Plus, they go the extra mile by helping with meal preparation, clean-up, and laundry. Outstanding service all around.

I have such a lovely group of carers who enable me to get out of bed to wash and dress. I am so grateful to them for being so kind, caring, and helpful. My carers are wonderful, they now feel like a part of our family.
