View Full Details of Open Doors Healthcare ServicesAbsolutely excellent service. Would not hesitate to use again.
I am the husband of the client, who has severe dementia and end-of-life peritoneal cancer. I am looking after her at home. After a short period of emergency carers, the NHS has provided us with twice-daily personal needs care from Open Doors, which we have found excellent in every respect. So much so that we have contracted extra hours privately to provide me with time to be able to carry out all I need to do. The manager and all her team have proved incredibly supportive, diligent and friendly. I am particularly impressed with their communication as they have kept us well informed at every stage.
Often late and go early. Overall good and caring support.
The two live in carers show my friend lots of respect and caring. They have been truly wonderful with her and she acknowledges this, often telling me how wonderful they are. I would recommend 'Open doors' to anyone looking for care for their loved ones.
I find all the carers very polite and so caring for my wife. They talk to her and reassure her as much as they can and to myself in her hours of need the standard very high.
Both my parents had used a Open Doors Healthcare, Both parents found the staff lovely and helpful, the male carers who would go beyond their duties. My mum still uses the care company and finds that one of the staff always makes her laugh. The care manager is very good and comes and checks on my mum. Care manager came to my dads funeral with the two carers.
Very happy with overall service. Thank you.
Excellent service much needed.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for the care and support given to my mum. Although she was only in your care for a short while, the attention she received was exceptional and I can not praise the carers enough. I would highly recommend your company to others in similar circumstances. Once again thank you one and all.
Full 24 hour care for Dad. Ladies are wonderful, nothing is a problem. They cope with every arising issue with care and compassion. Brilliant.
The two care ladies were very friendly. Put my wife at ease. They were on time and super efficient. Open Doors Healthcare Services are by far the best care company I have used.
I remain very impressed with Open Door Healthcare Service standards of care practice and management, It is clear that the carers are well trained. We have seen about 10 over the past few months but they all follow the same routine with my wife asking 'how was your night?' jollying her along to make her way to the bathroom to wash and dress, spotting if any of her clothes are soiled or need changing, bringing her a cup of tea, the big benefit of this approach is consistency. It is clear that my wife can't see the same carer every day but she knows what to expect whoever is providing her care on any given day. My wife enjoys their company and is always more lively after the carers visit. The agency is also very efficiently managed with prompt invoicing and phone calls if a carer is going to be late arriving.
Ignore the Care Commission Rating. The manager and her team looked after my Dad at home in the last 4 weeks of his life. They always arrived on time, treated my Dad with dignity and respect, and helped reassure my Mum, who had been looking after my Dad for so many months previously. Sophie would regularly phone my Mum and also pop in to make sure everything was satisfactory. My Dad got his wish which was to die in his own bed at home holding my mum's hand. Just wish we had used them earlier.
I am very pleased with the carriers who look after my wife. We have 3 visits a day and the care is always friendly and polite and provide a very good service and keep me informed if there are any problems. I would certainly recommend Open Doors Healthcare Services to anyone looking for an excellent home care service.
This experience has been really wonderful. I did not know what to expect, the ladies have been great. I am now having time with my husband which makes him feel more happier as I no longer have to be his carer. I can not fault any of the work that they do.
A particular member of staff arrived on time with the domestic. She was very polite, tidy and clean. Excellent job cleaning my home and helping me after a major operation. I will be using this company again.
I cannot fault this agency. My father was cared for from January 2023 until he died in June 2024. He was looked after with care and kindness at the beginning when he was really ill and this continued as he improved. He was treated respectfully all the time. We, as a family, were treated with kindness and respect.
Very satisfactory, the carers were all helpful and polite.
All the staff were amazing. My father trusted them to care for him in a respectful way. There were day and night nurses who noted their every care movement and sent them to my brother to review daily. Without their services we would have not coped at all. I cannot recommend them highly enough not only for their care but the respectful and dignified way they treated our father in his own home when he was discharged from hospital and needed care at the age of 94.
My two live-in carers who have been with me for the last four weeks, have been very courteous and friendly and have looked after me very well.
Absolutely excellent service. Would not hesitate to use again.
