Open Doors carers come in 3 x a day to help my 90-year old mother. They essentially do meals but also help with some cleaning, laundry and tidying. I have found them to be very attentive, kind, willing to help, polite and prompt. I met about 6 staff over a 3-week period. They were really good, cared for mum's welfare, and it was uplifting to know they are chatting/checking on her.

We were extremely impressed with the carers supplied by open doors. Everyone appeared at different times of the day with a smile & pleasant greeting. Our mother received the very best of personal care. Her Christian name was used frequently & at every point the carers explained to mum what they were going to do. I submitted a review previously when Open Doors were helping me look after my wife Anne during her final weeks suffering from severe dementia and terminal ovarian cancer. I'm sure that my previous review then was that Open Doors were excellent in all respects. That excellence continued up until Anne's last moments, and indeed afterwards. I visited their office recently (on Mothering Sunday with a small gift) to thank them once again, and using the occasion to submit this review as excellent.

Always prompt on visit times and very helpful in making sure Dad is showered and dressed for the day and everything he needs to get through the day. In his own words "I couldn't wish for anything better". I find all the carers very polite and so caring for my wife. They talk to her and reassure her as much as they can and to myself in her hours of need the standard very high.
Both my parents had used a Open Doors Healthcare, Both parents found the staff lovely and helpful, the male carers who would go beyond their duties. My mum still uses the care company and finds that one of the staff always makes her laugh. The care manager is very good and comes and checks on my mum. Care manager came to my dads funeral with the two carers.
