Right at home came recommended to me by my mothers friend who knew and respected the help and care they had recently provided for their loved one
We contacted Right at home and set up an assessment immediately. We all felt very comfortable and assured our Mum would be in safe hands and went ahead.
Mum had temporary care for a while which we were all very happy with. We wouldn't hesitate to use right at home again. A big Thank you for your kindness and support.
It's so difficult to find the right kind of care, but fortunately felt we did.

All my carers do all that I need in a pleasant, easy and relaxed way. Conversation enriches each visit. The roster is accurate for planning and provides for late changes when the need arises by either side. The carers do think ahead and point out impending needs. At this time the care provided meets
my needs, and I feel sure that when my need for care change the managers will work with me to make the adjustments.
Research of the care providers by my three sons resulted in a good choice that has consistently matched my needs.

Very impressed with this service, professional and prompt with well trained operatives. Very good and accessible management service.. Staff skilled with care operations, always polite and communicative showing genuine interest in the client. Make one feel part of a family.

All the carers at Right at Home were very kind, caring and empathic towards my dad, who has Alzheimer's and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to others with dementia.
The office staff were also understanding and were always there to help, at the end of a phone call, email or text messsge.
They always responded promptly, with solutions or other suggestions and nothing was too much trouble. They really do care and helped my dad to stay as independent as possible, for as long as he could. They were always happy, which really helps when you're feeling low.

Right At Home twice assessed my father/his needs, notably with respect for his wishes. During this, most recent/final period of their involvement, the managers were very rapid in responding to his changing/increased needs (following a short hospital admission) and provided increased frequency of
carers on his return home. They then listened when we asked for more, suggesting a live-in carer (rather than overnight and separate daytime input) which proved to be more than satisfactory. The carers they selected/provided were outstanding, supporting Dad to die, peacefully at home (which he had hoped for).
My only concerns are a) that carers receive only the National Living Wage and b) the demands placed on carers to provide immediate, extensive written records of the care they provide; while i recognise the need to demonstrate (especially to the CQC) that care is provided well, i could see how the time taken competed with other duties. I imagine these "concerns" are not easily resolved.

Right at home have given my father the most amazing care.They have bent over backwards to accommodate his needs .The staff are lovely and the care team headed by Sam are brilliant. I would recommend this care service to anyone they have helped us out with doctors and hospital appointments also,
nothing is to much trouble, taking my dad out for walks to the embankment in Bedford also has helped keep him active. Thank you all

We usually have two carers alternating. They are both very professional and friendly. They cheer us up when they come in and are eager to help me. They process my laundry and hang the washing on the line when fine. They tidy up the kitchen and prepare a light lunch and any other small jobs around
the house.
In short I look forward to see them.

Really lovely carers who are kind and considerate, and their time-keeping has been great. They are very flexible when plans needs to change (i.e. a sudden hospital visit), and their communication with the client is very good. They have always been on hand to discuss any changes or to help find the
best level of care as care needs increase. They have been great in trying to ensure that there are not too many changes in carers as far as possible to allow for consistency, which has been very important.

The timekeeping was impeccable and followed the care plan that we agreed. Regular carers were provided, which was immensely useful, as the client suffered from dementia and needed this structured care. We had regular reviews and hours of attendance were increased without issue, together with the
type of care required, ie personal hygiene, toilet assistance, laundry, cleaning and meal preparation. Would highly recommend.

I get on well with all the staff that I come into contact with (well, I think so.)
Fortunately, not too many people with different accents, as I find that difficult.
I was very pleased to hear that help with tablets was available if needed.

I got in touch with the team at Right at Home Bedford when my Mother-in-law's health started to deteriorate and I'm glad that I did. We started with an hour's assistance in the mornings which went so well that as time went on that developed into a live-in care being put in place to enable her to get
the attention she required. All of the carers that we met were always genuinely nice people who would go out of there way to improve my Mother-in-law's well being. I can't thank the team enough for their superb service and attention to detail. Many thanks.

Right at Home Bedford has been providing a live-in carer for my Godmother. The service has been exceptional, not only is the Carer highly trained but also, but she also has a level of understanding and empathy way beyond her years. My Godmother is very happy with the level of care she is receiving.
The owners of the Care Agency are attentive, professional, and very proactive. Nothing is too much trouble. They maintain excellent communication between their office staff, Carers, clients, and client's relatives. I would recommend this Care Agency to anyone seeking high-quality care for a loved one.

I am very happy with the service provided to my mum. She is a lot happier now and enjoys the company of the carers. They are kind and thoughtful as well as professional in what they do. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my mum is so well cared for when I can’t be there due to work or other
family commitments. Indeed the carers often go the extra mile and do crosswords with her.

For the most part, the service has worked well. However, there have been a couple of occasions where the carer has not arrived on time and no telephone message has been received. The care received has been of a good standard.

I have had eight different carers so far and I would recommend any or all of them for their kindness and consideration in making me feel comfortable both physically and mentally.

Right at Home have supported us in caring for our mum who is living with dementia. They have some great carers who took the time to get to know my mum, take her for walks with the dog, take her out for lunch or to visit a garden centre - all things Mum loves to do!
The office management are
brilliant! Very flexible and understanding as our needs are continuously changing.
I would not hesitate to recommend Right at Home to anyone looking for a trusted partner to care for a relative.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Right at Home (Bedford) to anyone looking for home care for a friend or relative. From the outset, the service and approach taken by the manager and the team have been first class - understanding my father's care requirements and mother's support needs were
front and centre of everything they did. Living 150 miles away from my elderly parents and not being able to visit as regularly as I would have liked, it was important to me to have an organisation providing care that they were happy with and that I had full confidence in. Their communication has been excellent throughout, and the relationship the carers have developed with my parents provides me with great reassurance that they are in good hands.

Right at Home are professional and caring. Management cares about their carers (and their development and work-life balance) and their clients. Regular reviews give ample opportunity to raise additional needs or any concerns. The carers themselves are matched with clients and are brilliant -
positive and cheerful, they do all that is required and some go the extra mile, helping to find out information for trips out according to the client's interest. Right at Home are also flexible, providing extra sessions or cancelling sessions as required (with suitable notice). I thoroughly recommend them.
