As always Irene is absolutely wonerful. An old friend. This is the third time she has looked after me. Goodoaks are a marvellous agency. Kind, helpful and patient and have lovely carers.

I am a friend, PA and Health and Welfare Attorney for a disabled lady who requires live-in care. The team at Good Oaks have been wonderfully helpful and caring in their dealings with us and have provided some excellent carers. Like all personal (live-in) relationships, one or two of the carers
haven't worked out perfectly, but Good Oaks have always put this right immediately, and replaced the carers with more suitable people. It a great comfort to know that my friend is such good hands.

My mother had a fall and I called Good Oaks for a full time carer and within 24 hours we had a lovely lady. I can not recommend them highly enough. Very high standard of carers, very professional organisation. I am very happy that Good Oaks are looking after my elderly mother.

The service we have received from GoodOaks has been amazing, totally supportive and invaluable. The carers are well trained and professional but equally as important, they really do care in every aspect of the word, and feel like part of the family. The management are very communicative and helpful,
and handovers between carers are thorough. What has been (and still is) an emotional time, has been made so much more bearable knowing Mum is in good hands and has the care she needs 24/7. Thank you so much GoodOaks!

My mother has had three carers from Good Oaks now, all of them have been fantastic with her, sensitive to her memory loss and former independence. They have helped with driving, cooking and general housekeeping, also giving attention to my mothers dog!
They have also been great in keeping in touch
with me via WhatsApp and in person when I have visited or they have brought my mother to visit me.
I have no hesitation in recommending Good Oaks.

Recommended to me by a friend whose carer spoke highly of GoodOaks and was in the process of applying to work for them. The admin team are very helpful and friendly. Obviously considered the welfare of the client and carer as extremely important. Small team with plenty of first-hand experience of
caring themselves. Would certainly use them again if I needed further care. Have recommended them to others.

The carer has been amazing with my husband and makes life so much easier for us all.
He has enabled him to do things we would have stopped him doing but it is done safely.
He treats my husband with respect and copes well with his speech problems and movement issues.

We have had a very good experience with Good Oaks Homecare. They have been so accommodating with some very challenging circumstances. The ladies who have worked for us have all been very helpful and understanding of our requirements. The agency has been super helpful in sorting out difficulties with
the placement.

The standard of the carer is well above our every expectation in all areas from personal care to emotional support. The backup provided by the office team has been faultless and so we are very happy.

The management have been really good and we feel genuinely cared for my father. The last carer was particularly sensitive and went above and beyond to make him comfortable and safe. They are a small company and this does mean there isn't a wide choice of carers, but it does mean there is a more
personal and hands-on service.

We have been impressed with everyone f from the agency from the minute we met them - from the owners to office staff, who go above and beyond to help us and accommodate our wishes to the carers who are exceptional in their care and concerns of the client they are staying with.

The manager was kind, thoughtful and helpful. She spent a long time with my father getting to know him in order to match the right live-in carer for my parents. I've given fewer stars for care/support only because we do not yet have a live-in carer in place so cannot yet properly know. We look
forward to using GoodOaks in the coming months. Thank you.

The three week trial has been most successful to the extent that we had no hesitation in continuing. With consistent extra care, my mother, in particular, has improved whilst my father’s anxiety with multiple carers has lessened. The initial carer brought an inner peace and calmness to the household
which was well-organised. Her laid-back approach respected my father’s space. The second carer is lively and extremely attentive with great attention to every detail, being particularly proactive with medical issues. She has garnered more trust and now assists with dressing and catheter. With both parents suffering from dementia, this service has given the family more peace of mind than we’ve had in a while, we know they are safe and looked after. Communication works well, be it with management, who are very responsive, but especially with the carers who balance updates with good and not-so-good news. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend GoodOaks Homecare and their team who provide a great value service.

GoodOaks have been both highly professional and very helpful. They are flexible and understanding and any concerns are swiftly addressed. They went the extra mile to find a lovely carer that my father felt really happy with and then ensured she could stay as long as was needed.

GoodOaks have been great at providing a live-in carer for my father and finding the right one for the situation. They are quick at responding if any issues do arise. I would not hesitate to recommend them. I definitely feel you get the personal touch when dealing with GoodOaks.

We were thrilled with our first two weeks. My mother in laws carer was like a breath of fresh air. Very professional and she made my mother-in-law feel comfortable and relaxed. We felt we could breathe and know she was in good hands.
The third week was less good, it got better but she was not as
comfortable with the new carer.
Then the original carer came back and life was great for her again.

Since the 17th of February, and my husband's return from the hospital, we have had the utmost kindness, help and cheerfulness. I quite honestly don't know how I would have coped without this help.

The owners have been utterly brilliant from the beginning, a few months ago when we approached them for sourcing help for my grandparents.
They really care about your loved ones and make every effort to assure their carer is well-trained, vetted and on top of things. They are very flexible and
understanding wherever they can be which is so key when it comes to individual needs. No fitting into boxes with them. If there is any sort of concern with a carer, they are very discreet and happy to consider swapping to another of their very caring and well-trained staff.
My grandparents have been really happy with them and the swap to this care system from privately managing people (which turned out to be very stressful) has been really quite dramatic. I trust them which is the most important thing. Highly recommend. Thanks to the owners.
