Compassion First stepped in when we were really struggling to find a care package for my Dad after he had been in hospital. They have been brilliant at looking after my Dad. The staff are very helpful and caring. The service is always excellent and very reliable. The communication is great. Brandon
and the team have gone above and beyond in helping to organise outings for my Dad. Would highly recommend!

Lovely, friendly and efficient staff who always put my wife at ease. Treat her as an individual rather than just a customer. Very flexible in the support they can provide in an emergency. Would highly recommend them.

Everyone is so helpful, all the staff mom has had contact with are extremely caring & understanding, as mom is quite deaf, they take time with her. All the contact i have with the team including owner ,office staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend them. I
would not cope without them.

We started using Compassion First to provide daily short duration home visits. We appreciated the flexibility in planning these. Over time as mums health worsened we relied more heavily on Maxine and her colleagues to provide increased levels of support including 24/7 care towards the end. We were
extremely impressed and grateful for the professionalism and respect shown throughout. Thank you again

Compassion First have been supporting my husband's recovery since December 2024 and made their final visit today. They have been with us throughout a traumatic and stressful time and contributed much to his progress with both professionalism, kindness, and a sense of humour! Nothing has been too
much trouble and we shall miss them, but are safe in the knowledge that, should circumstances change, we would not hesitate to call 'help' once again...

I write simply as a neighbour of the people involved- I got to know them after a fall hospitalised one of the brothers, leaving the other at home.
I cant begin to express properly just how impressed I am with everyone involved from the care company- their compassion is off the scale, helping out
and advocating far beyond what was expected.
If I had a loved one in need of daily help, hand on heart, there is NO OTHER provider I would contemplate. They went above and beyond (and still are) to ensure continuity of care, to advocate when relatives didn't bother- to visit in hospital (it isn't close by either) and buy things that were needed when no family member bothered to, to keep those living close by informed of what's going on so that the people who care can help out. This is what care looks like. This us truly compassion demonstrated by actions.
To all those involved- thank you. I know they will never know how much you've done for them- but I do and I'm so grateful. Thank you. Xx

Cannot fault Compassion First Homecare, whole experience was first class! From the day the care plan was developed to the weekly visits mom received, did not have a single problem or concern. The carer was always very kind and caring and made sure mom had everything she needed during the visits.
All processes from changing the odd time of visit to paying invoices were simple and efficient and if mom needs any support going forwards we wouldn't go anywhere else! Thank you all

My mother has been receiving care from Compassion first home care since the New year and I can honestly say we've seen her confidence grow to go out for a walk, play games, and to hear the fun they have together.
We have regular carer which again is so good for mum as they now have an amazing bond.
I would highly recommend them.

Compassion first home care have been great to deal with, professional and friendly with great staff looking after my father with a flexible approach for his needs. They have given fantastic advice and support to us finding the right level of care for him.

We first engaged Compassion First Home Care in November 2024 for my father who was post operative following surgery for diabetes complications. He and my mum are in an independent retirement community building and when I asked other residents and staff for recommendations, Compassion First
overwhelmingly were suggested. My Dad was resistant (stubborn and proud) at first but very quickly accepted the help from all staff and always referred to them as patient, kind and understanding. They helped him shower and get dressed, sometimes made breakfast or a coffee for him, helped mum with ironing, changing sheets....whatever was needed to help them get started on their day. When needs increased, Compassion First were there to add additional shifts and couldn't have been more supportive. We all highly recommend the services of Compassion First Home Care.

Compassion First Home Care was a beacon of light at an emotional time when our family needed urgent support. Our request was actioned with immediate effect and a care plan was set up within hours. In the following weeks, the process was seamless and requests were considered efficiently. A special
mention needs to be reserved for the carers who quickly created a professional but affectionate bond with my father. They made every situation achievable and the human connection was everything. In short, Compassion First Home Care provided impeccable support during a dark time and I recommend them all without hesitation.

Having used other care providers, Compassion First Home Care are a breath of fresh air.
My mother has dementia and has always wished to stay at home. Compassion First carers have definitely now made this possible.
My mother says that 'it is like having friends come to visit three times a day' and
'they (the carers) are fantastic'.
My mother is now happy and contented and much less anxious.
I am very happy to recommend Compassion First Home Care, I feel like a burden has been lifted as I have every confidence that they are providing an excellent care service.

Two particular members of staff and the entire Compassion First team have been excellent. Over a near year-long period they have provided excellent care to my elderly mother who, whilst suffering with dementia, was determined to live independently for as long as possible. They made all of this
possible.
From our first meetings, the managing director was very clear about the care packages that Compassion First could provide. We found the team to be available for advice whenever needed, flexible, and reactive to changing situations. It was tremendously reassuring to have them involved; they provided great peace of mind as well as excellent levels of care.
Many thanks to the team; Compassion First comes highly recommended.

The managing director at Compassion First was excellent from beginning to end. He provided us with the most brilliant of carers. They were all excellent however, the carer who became my mum's main carer was incredible. All the nurses who visited her were constantly impressed by her ability to keep
mum's bed sores at bay! As a family, we can’t praise the service enough. I highly recommend this organisation, professional, caring and human.

The manager and her team have been absolutely brilliant with the care they have provided for my mother who has dementia and other complex care needs. The team have been so caring with my mom and even ask me to check back in with her to ensure I have been successful making medical referrals which
they are unable to do without my consent.
My mother recently became very ill and has been admitted to hospital. The team have been to visit my mother in hospital and have kept in constant contact with me and my sister which is above and beyond any expectation I would expect.
I am hoping my mother can return home in the near future but this is only because I can rely and trust the care that FCN will provide.
100% positive review and we couldn’t ask for more.
Thank you to the team, you are all fantastic help.
