View Full Details of Pimelea Care ServicesI have only been with Pimelea Care for a few months, I find them caring, polite and they help me with whatever I need. I have had no problems and I find the carers are so nice.
This company was introduced by my child's social worker and they have been marvellous on all accounts.
Avoid Pimelea Care Services at all costs. While many of the individual carers are fantastic, the manager is a completely different story. She's unprofessional, dishonest, and only seems to care about the money. When I raised legitimate concerns about one of her staff members, she terminated my care contract overnight without any effort to resolve the issue. This left me and my two young children in an impossible situation, with no care in place and no support. It's appalling that she would prioritise her company's interests over the well-being of vulnerable clients like me. To make matters worse, she has a history of hypocrisy. She previously condemned another care company for doing exactly what she's done to me. Double standards. There is a lot more I could say! The bottom line is that Pimelea Care Services doesn't care about its clients. It's all about the money and maintaining a facade. If you value your well-being and that of your loved ones, stay far, far away from this company.
We were put in touch with Pimelea through NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) in preparation for husband leaving a care home to return home with support at night. The director met us at care home & did a home visit the next day. We were instantly enamoured by his personality, interest & knowledge. This family run business is exceptional. The quality of care is outstanding, their skills, patience & compassion is always evident. The carer arrives promptly, immediately commences care which enables both of us to have supported nights sleep. The care plan produced for husband is very specific & has been applauded by other health professionals visiting. This is our first exposure to home support & I would recommend this agency to anyone seeking such care.
When mum died in March, 2025, she was 99, bed-ridden and had developed dementure. She needed multiple care visits each day, including overnight, 7 days a week. Her care needs had progressively increased over the 3 years prior to her death, and we built up the care team over time. She had always wanted to stay at home and end her days there, rather than go into a care home, so we needed to find carers who we could trust to not only look after her personal care needs, but also her emotional needs. I engaged Pimelea around 9 months ago to provide addiitonal carers to work alongside other, individual carers that I employed. They were recommended by one of mum's existing carers. They fitted in with the rest of the team really well and were utterly professional, reliable, caring and warm. Many care companies just send someone to pop in for the minimum time they can get away with and then get off to their next visit. Pimelea were not like that and I would highly recommend them.
My father's group of carers are all very friendly and polite. They are very caring and will do anything needed. They have helped us recently when he had to go into hospital and needed extra care when he came out at short notice while he felt better. They even brought flowers on my parents 65th Wedding Anniversary which was very kind.
Pimelea are a great company which deliver my partner great care and helpful throughout. Nothing is too much and the staff always go above and beyond eveycall and help the whole family. I cannot rate the company highly enough
They are all very nice and kind. They help you with things you wouldn't have time for. The caring nurses have changed my life around. My doctor thought I would give up. Since I had the Pimelea, I want to live my life now. Bless you all.
I am very pleased with the care and compassion shown by all members of staff.
I first contacted the company in August as recommended by a carer helping Mum and we needed more care and support as I was struggling and tired. I honestly cannot recommend this company highly enough for the high standards of care they continue to deliver. All the staff are caring and compassionate. They are so friendly and communicate well with both me and Mum. They have helped and supported both me and Mum since August and they are outstanding. I receive a report via the app to inform me of care delivered at each and every visit and any concerns are relayed to me promptly. They demonstrate a high level of knowledge and skill and we feel completely safe and valued by all the team. We have never been let down and they have been able to help me at short notice when problems arise which is invaluable to both me and my Mum. Wonderful company and they deserve every bit of recognition for the high level of care they deliver at each and every visit.
Pimelea have been providing care for my mum who has alzheimer's and dementia. They provide a well organised and efficient service combined with excellent staff, kindness and respectful for our Mum. All the staff are very kind, caring and helpful going above and beyond their duties. Pimelea keep me informed of anything that they are concerned about, for example: swelling in legs, bruises or bleeding anywhere. The Pimelea carers were there very quickly when Mum fell, waiting with her for the ambulance and accompanying her to the hospital. They kept us up to date with what was happening whilst waiting with her.
They offer an excellent service, always on time and always happy. They are a very caring team.
Very satisfied.

Pimelea are caring, compassionate and kind. They are knowledgeable in all aspects, nothing is too much trouble. Patient and understanding, helpful and considerate. Their knowledge of nursing care is excellent. They make us feel confident. The most supportive carers we have ever had. Always flexible and prepared to go the extra mile. We could not cope without them.
