As a close friend of someone who receives care from Alcedo Care, I've seen firsthand the positive difference their support has made. From the very beginning, the carers have shown genuine compassion, professionalism, and respect, not just toward my friend but also toward the people around them.
What stands out most is how personalised the care is. The staff take the time to really understand my friend's needs, preferences, and routines, which has given them a renewed sense of independence and confidence. Communication has also been excellent - I always feel reassured knowing my friend is in safe, capable, and caring hands.
It's clear that Alcedo Care doesn't just provide a service; they build trusting relationships and truly care about the wellbeing of their clients. As someone who cares deeply about my friend, I'm incredibly grateful for the support Alcedo Care provides and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate care.

Great care company with a professional and friendly team. Safah was especially great -attentive, kind, and very supportive. It's clear that this company values both their clients and their staff, and that shows in the standard of care provided. Highly recommended.

From the very beginning, the care agency was supportive and professional. The carers were punctual, well-trained, and genuinely caring. Management were easy to contact and quick to respond to any concerns. The quality of care provided exceeded our expectations. 100% recommend

Alcedo had cared for a relative of mine and went above and beyond in order to take care of my relative. They were very professional and compassionate. I would recommend them to anyone who needs extra support for their family members.

Alcedo had to start caring for our Aunt living with Dementia with no handover from previous carers and with no notice. They handled the situation with professionalism and above all, care. They have gone above and beyond what we asked for in order to care for our aunt to the highest level.

We asked Alcedo Trafford to supply a care package for our elderly father. The staff were initially friendly and helpful but all that changed when we noticed discrepancies between the care reports and invoices. Our queries were met with avoidance and silence. When we eventually received a response
Alcedo insisted on billing us for visits even though there was no proof that they had taken place. When we refused to pay for undocumented visits, Alcedo terminated the contract.
Being so utterly disappointed with the way our concerns were dealt with, we reported our experience to the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We have found Alcedo to be a company who prioritises financial gain over care and accountability. When they lost our trust, it raised serious concerns over the welfare of our father. We feel it is our duty to highlight our experience and needless to say, we would not recommend this company to anyone.

My mother was supported by carers from Alcedo Care. The ladies who came to visit my mum were so understanding and spent the full time supporting my mum with personal care and administering medication and meals. When they had finished supporting her physically, they would spend any extra time having
chats with her. They were all truly amazing.

My child has been receiving care from Alcedo Care, and it has been one of the best care companies. The staff have been ever so understanding and patient with my son when providing care. The office staff have been very helpful with the times of visits and any concerns or enquiries I had. The nursing
teams are excellent and deserve more recognition for their hard work as well as everyone that is involved in my son's care.

The carers who came to see my father were absolutely brilliant took care of my father with dignity and care. Could not have picked a better care company! Office staff were great and supportive with all aspects of needs and any queries.

The level of care received for my auntie was amazing. Every need was treated with impeccable care and the staff were always so helpful. The office staff were always up to date with their care facilities and always adapted to provide the most sufficient care for my auntie. She always feels respected
and valued when cared for and I couldn't appreciate the company more.

My son has been supported by Alcedo Care since March 2024.
I find that the carers are understanding and compassionate about my son's needs.
The management are easy to approach with open communication.

Alcedo has gone above and beyond to care for my son, especially after an incident that happened and have made changes throughout the company to ensure they're not repeated. Besides this particular carer I cannot fault any we have had.
They're all lovely and more than capable of caring for my son
and I am very happy with the service.
The only issue sometimes is lack of communication but this is improving.

Alcedo Care supports my dad with social activities a few times a week. The carers that attend from the Trafford branch have been amazing with him. They take him to different places and keep him occupied. They distract him in a positive manner when he is feeling low. Honestly, I am amazed by the
fantastic work they do.

Alcedo Care has been looking after my mum who has complex needs. They are caring and compassionate. The dedication from the whole team is outstanding, they always listen and are quick to respond when my mum's health changes which unfortunately is frequent. Massive support and wonderful genuine
people.

Alcedo are working closely with client and ourselves to set up discharge team for the community.
It is a complex process due to large number on the team and requirements of the hospital.
The team are communicating well with client, client partner and hospital team.
They are working really hard to
achieve discharge requirements.

After initial teething problems (i.e. communication) since having a regular consistent carer for 8 months and new faces in the office communication and consistency has greatly improved.

My experience with Alcedo Care was good for taking care of my daughter. Their team was listening to my daughter's needs and they were happy to find the best person to take care of my daughter. The main impression about their services is they keep an eye on their staff and always train them to do
their best.
