View Full Details of Oakhaven Care TottonOver the past 18 months my late wife received excellent care and support from the Oakhaven team. We started using Oakhaven when my wife couldn't dress herself due to her motor neuron disease, and as she got more ill the amount of care she received increased. On many occasions the carers went over and above their duties. I can't think them enough for all their hard work
Oakhaven carers have been nothing but fantastic in looking after my Mum who had Motor Neurone Disease. They were kind, caring, compassionate and had a wonderful sense of humour which I know Mum loved. The team went above and beyond to look after her, and even though Mum has since passed away, I know that she spoke very highly of them all. Thank you all for looking after Mum so well, and keeping my Dad sane too!
So fortunate to have had the services and support of Oakhaven care for the last 4 years. They made a real connection with the family, there to provide care for my dad but also so reassuring that they were looking out for my mum too, and would regularly feedback if they had any concerns. The team were so caring and would help out with little odd jobs if they had the time, always bright and cheery and having a laugh with mum and dad...and the dog. They were a huge support helping to deal with social services when extra support was needed, we couldn't have asked for anymore.
Happy with everything. Mum has a laugh with the carers. All very nice. Very fond of some carers more than others, which is lovely to see. The carers support Mum to be part of activities around the home.
We are quite happy with the service. Carers are lovely, professional and very respectful. Have a laugh with them and they do odd jobs for me if required. They are all well trained on how to use the equipment we need.
Overall the standard of care given to my wife was excellent. Although over 20 carers visited our home there was a high degree of consistency in their approach. The carers were kind, diligent and thorough. When necessary they would advise me to contact other relevant medical professionals.
