The cqc acted promptly and issued a safeguarding against Mediline.
Also known as two other different companies, although not allowed to mention the company names here, they often use the other names during talking to them (never a good sign). My mother was not only neglected by this company, their behaviour was at times negligent. No meals, no personal care, missed visits, no schedule, visiting for 15 minutes not 30, speaking to my mother like a child, the condition of the house was described by her friend as a hovel. Fridge full of mouldy food, bins overflowing, medication scattered everywhere, trip hazards when my mum is partially sighted, and now has malnutrition, refusing to allow her to reduce visits and rude and dishonest management. For your health and the health of your loved one, steer clear.

I'm really sorry that you have had to raise your concerns. This Safeguarding was raised through the relevant Local Authority and escalated to CQC and followed up in line with our Policies and Procedures internally. All responses, after a thorough and robust investigation have been submitted to both CQC and the LA and both have not requested any further information from us.
