I'm not at all surprised Abbotts Care received an "Excellent" CQC result. The Ferndown Team are just delightful, all are warm, caring, considerate interested in my mother, make thoughtful suggestions, are aware of small details that make a difference and are always happy, upbeat and enthusiastic even
singing as they enter her flat. I can see they are genuinely fond of mum and I can see a significant difference in my mother who now feels secure and relaxed, safe and content and looks forward to each and every visit. I too have been able to "let go" as I fully trust them to handle all aspects of her care in a professional and respectful manner.

Very good care from all the carers, but as head office do not know the area, the girls are sent back and forth, all over the place, wasting their time and petrol, instead of a sensible order. Thank you for their care.

Since the local manager was off sick and only recently returned, the rotas are a mess. I appreciate that you have staff shortages but that does not excuse the poor service. Times are all over the place, no continuity of carer, and male carers arrive for morning and evening visits which are unacceptable
to my mother and was well known to the local manager, but central management doesn't seem to be able to sort this out. She needs continuity of care so she knows the people attending and a consistent time of visits.


I would like to thank the regular carers who look after my mother who provide excellent care and personal attention knowing what she likes and spending, and the right time at each visit. I would particularly like to commend two of my mother's main carers.

When returning home after 3 months in hospital I needed a great deal of support. This I got in spades. Without exception all carers were kind and caring, doing everything I could have asked for an always with a smile. I was very happy indeed with the care and comfort I received.
I was lucky to have
such lovely ladies looking after me and would recommend them without hesitation.

Abbots Care provided wonderful care for my Dad. He got on very well with his carers and enjoyed their visits. Abbots Care were excellent at keeping me informed with anything relating to his health and well-being and were also a great source of advice and support. The carers were friendly, kind, caring
and professional and visits were always punctual. I would very much recommend Abbots Care.

Abbots Care has provided a wonderful service for my father over the past year. Dad (aged 96) accepted carers easily after living an independent life, due to the kindness, friendliness and understanding provided. He has not had an easy year but Abbots made sure he was always well cared for. I would highly
recommend Abbots Care to anyone needing assistance at home.

I was extremely satisfied with the manager and her staff.
They are a professional team and I would recommend them always.
They treated my mother with the utmost respect, she had dementia and other problems.
The staff are well looked after and trained, therefore, know what they are doing.

I can not recommend this company enough.
They made a very stressful situation so much better with their professionalism and experience.
My mother- in- law felt at ease with the carers and they helped us, the family, as much as they did improve her quality of life.
Advice and regular updates gave
us peace of mind.
Thoughtful touches like making cakes, walking the dog, singing songs kept her stimulated.
Personal care was treated with dignity and I am so glad that we chose you, thank you!

Since being with Abbots Care Ltd - Dorset, my mum received every care, attention and kindness she could wish for. Every one of the carers cannot do enough for her. It's very comforting for the family to know mum is receiving such high standard of care. The cost is more than the previous agency but it
is worth the extra to get quality in return. They all just seem to love the job they do - always a smile and all have a good sense of humour!
