From the outset, there were ongoing issues with timekeeping, inconsistent service, and insufficient time spent with my mother, which quickly undermined confidence in the care provided.
With Cameras in my mother's home, staff repeatedly interfered with them, forcing me to pay for them to be repositioned.

Basic care was also inconsistent-on several occasions my mother was left with poorly made bedding and unclean dishes, which is unacceptable.
I raised two formal complaints with the Care Inspectorate. The first involved a missed bedtime routine, affecting my mother's dignity. The second, more serious incident, was upheld: after a fall, staff ignored protocol by lifting her themselves and then recorded inaccurate information. Check the Care Inspectorate website
These repeated failures raise serious concerns about the standard of care.
I also found it inappropriate to be told to "go elsewhere," if not happy.

We welcome cameras in service user homes, these will be repositioned, where required, to ensure the dignity, respect and privacy of the service user especially where personal care tasks are being carried out.
