In the main, the carers are very good. Problem is with this company they do not seem to listen to clients ever. There is just no consistency of care. Clients are constantly sent different carers, some from miles away, which is so silly When clients voice their concerns there is no response. This is
not good . Clients need consistentce with their care and people that can communicate. Also people that are well trained, not just a week or two of shadowing and then on the job.. Also the older employees that have been with the company for a few years are ignored for newer workers. Is this a money thing? Do new workers just do this job with no argument. It's time this was looked at and it's time that clients were listened to more!

Having needed the services of Gemini Care for my late wife since December 2023 to date I found the staff were polite, punctual and cared for my late wife satisfactorily with the exception of the carers language that was, as an Octogenarian myself, somewhat difficult to hear and understand, and had a
variety of ways to administer medication, especially as the client was suffering from Advanced Dementia and would not always understand the carer's instructions. Nevertheless the care and comfort given to my late wife was useful and mostly appropriate but sometimes lacked the 'softness' one affords to their love ones.
My sincere thanks for the service given and especially to two staff members who were a delight to have in our home.
