Expensive but worth it. Sometimes rotas change unexpectedly but they are generally reliable.

An excellent care company in all aspects. Brilliant staff and management. Always arrive at the allotted time and stay for the full allocated time. Never fail to turn up when expected. The staff are friendly and very professional.

It would be even better if we can get another carer who is also as good to cover leave. I understand that Crossroads is currently short of staff and trying to recruit.

I am writing this review because both my husband and I are really happy with the service that you are providing for him. The carers are very polite and respectful. He has recently been diagnosed with cerebral dementia and gets very frustrated with life as he has had to give up his allotment and his driving due to having a stroke. Staff have been fantastic with him. I would definitely recommend this service to family and friends. Once again I wish to thank you and long may your service reign.

I have the sitting service for my husband who has Parkinsons Disease with dementia and postural hypotension. This makes him prone to falling. I use my 4 hours a week all at once so I can pursue my hobby. It's my lifeline to some normality of life. My husband also benefits from my absence for a little while! He gets on well with sitter.

The carer is absolutely everything you could ask for in a carer, she's helpful and does everything to make my life much better, I really couldn't ask for a better companion.

I was doing my best but 2 or 3 hours sleep and realising I could not continue to try and care for my husband 24/7, I contacted Carers Trust North Bucks and Milton Keynes. I was already using their 'sitting' service for a monthly 2 hours break at the hairdresser's. Now I have somebody to shower and dress my husband Mon-Fri and usually I have mine then too. The carers arrive cheery and professional and take over, so for an hour I can be 'me'. I was worried my husband would not accept them but not at all. I recently used the overnight stay service, having to attend a funeral many miles away and that worked too. No hesitation in recommend to others.

My son is severely autistic and needs constant supervision. His carer visits once a week for two hours and spends time with him so I can do something else with my younger son. She is his friend as well as his carer - she helps him with food, toilet, cleanliness and tickles his feet and rubs his back - something he really likes. She is kind and fun and gets on well with the whole family.
