From our interaction with the manager in doing an assessment of my sisters care needs to the daily care so far has been brilliant we have felt like we have been heard and given a say as well as although it has only been several days the service, friendliness and professional care and support has been
amazing. It is more appreciated because my sister is special educational needs and autistic. She has so far got on with both ladies who have come to look after her and shower her and dress her.

The carers are always cheerful and arrive well on time. They have friendly conversations about family and recent activities. They usually complete all the required tasks well within the allotted time span, but sometimes are a little hasty and say they have to move on.They do not seem to allow for day
to day variations the clients mobility or mental condition. One carers frequently uses her mobile phone during the visit.Their use of PPE is also inconsistent. Some carers always wear clean uniforms/aprons when in the flat, but others often do not remove outdoor clothes at all nor use shoe covers in the bedroom.

Very satisfied with the carers that come to care for my husband - they are professional, loving, creative and understand how to respect my hubby with compassion and dignity and love the three things I look for in a good carer besides having a professional and resourceful attitude. Thank you staff.

Mums carer has come to understand and know how she likes her meals. Presentation is important in encouraging to eat. She understands that clothes ad appearance help mum to feel good about herself. I always find mum has been well cared for and her needs met with kindness and respect, helping her keep
her dignity. This compassion extends to both my brother who lives in the house and myself when I am there.
I know mum is in safe hands when I can't be there - mums carers also helps me with household tasks so that mum lives in a clean environment.

Life Care Plus is a nightmare due to incompetent and unprofessional management. The so-called "manager," is controlling, manipulative and completely unfit for her role. She ignores boundaries, lies, interferes and makes life difficult for families. Despite being told to stay out of my mum's care, she
continued meddling with no regard for us or the director's decision. As for the director, he is weak and incapable of running this company. He agreed to remove the manager but still let her dictate everything. They bring in untrained carers from abroad with little to no experience handling complex needs. Complaints are ignored, putting vulnerable clients at risk. I raised a serious complaint in October 2024, yet months later, they tried to send the same carer back, proving their lack of accountability. That said, a few dedicated carers work hard despite the manager and director's disgraceful leadership. They deserve praise. Life Care Plus is a mess do not trust them with your loved ones!
Reply from Rajenkumar Thakkar, Director at Life Care Plus-Home Care Services and Live in CareLife Care Plus acknowledges the concerns raised by a client regarding their loved one's care. Despite the company's commitment to providing quality care and addressing challenges, the client's experience was unsatisfactory. The company values feedback and strives for improvement, but adheres to professional care plans to ensure safety. Issues arose when balancing specific demands with guidelines, particularly a request for a week-long shadowing period, which posed financial constraints. Despite efforts to accommodate, the family chose not to continue the care plan. We ensure all staff are trained according to the Care Act and company policy, with thorough inductions and shadowing by senior staff. Over two and a half years, the company faced challenges due to the family's demands and abusive behaviour toward Carers and Care Manager. Ultimately, due to ongoing issues, Life Care Plus issued a notice and ended the care arrangement. The company remains committed to providing excellent care.
