My mother's care coordinator generally communicates well, sends rotas on time, and is approachable when issues arise. The Care Agency have been providing wonderful care for my mother who is elderly with dementia. The carers are very attentive and patient with my mum who in turn is very happy with her carers. They look after her well and attend to all her needs promptly. The Care Coordinator sorts out the Rota and

Overall Experience

I spoke to the managers about my health problems and what care I needed during an assessment and they completely disregarded that information. Then they gave me a carer that was not capable of doing anything that I needed her to do. I would ask the carer to do something and she would simply not do it.

Sometimes I wondered if she understood English. She did. She simply did not do what I asked. She would huff and seem fed-up with me, and would not do it. This made me feel guilty for asking her to do, what I had paid her to do! I am paying for this with my own money because the NHS has abandoned me, yet again. I asked her to wash my hair a certain way, she didn't want to. She kept pulling it roughly and causing more breakage than necessary. I asked her if she has experienced wheeling people to places, using public transport, planning and following journeys, setting up the wheelchair, etc., and she said "yes" but did none of it.

I am very satisfied with the service my sister is getting. I have no complaints about anything. My sister is used to the carer, and the carer knows how to handle my sister's everyday needs. Getting my sister ready when it's time to go to the day centre.
