From the moment we had the initial meeting to discuss care needs for my family member Astor Care have been amazing. They really do listen and the quick and friendly response from the office staff is wonderful. Living some distance from my loved one is hard but knowing they have lovely carers who really do care is a comfort. The office are super responsive, quick to deal with any issues, very polite and have contacted me when they have noticed any concerns. The carers have taken time to get to know my relative who now looks forward to their visits and company. Being able to see what the carers have done each visit via their app is an added bonus, it puts my mind at ease. They have truly made a difference.

My darling mum was very ill in hospital. We had been receiving exceptional care for both my wonderful parents. Astor Care & Nursing Agency provided 24-hour care for my father while I spent every minute by my mother's bedside. I will always be forever grateful and never forget the kindness of all the carers and Astor Care. They enabled me to spend my darling mum's last days with her by her side. My dad received exceptional care, kindness and attention. They also kept in close contact with me to be there for me. I will never forget such kindness.

Staff generally friendly but have poor timekeeping. They have a lack of understanding of people’s needs, even though they say they are a nursing agency! Timekeeping is appalling; you never get the time you pay for, staff give false login and out details, and they forget people have cameras that are time and date stamped - this is theft and taking advantage of vulnerable people.

Astor Care have been amazing at helping us care for our nan. Our nan has been really unwell this year. Since Astor Care started to help us our nan is now thriving and doing really well. She has put on weight and is starting to eat properly again. Astor Care are great with communication no matter how many times I call or email. They are always happy to help. I don't know where we would be without them.

From the very first day we had Astor Care as our care provider, they showed my mother-in-law nothing but kindness, compassion and dignity. It was never a problem for the office team to assist us with any questions we may have, the whole team went above and beyond the whole time and we can never thank them enough for everything they did.

Words cannot express how appreciative I am to this organisation. They have given me 100% support in every respect of my needs during one of the most difficult times of my life. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I am so grateful to them during a serious illness of my husband.

I have used "Astor Care" frequently in the last few years, sometimes at quite short notice. Their carers are always prompt, kind and efficient, doing everything possible to make the clients comfortable and happy. The carers are a wonderful team. I could not be more pleased to recommend "Astor Care" to others.

My daughter's abiding wish was for her 100-year-old grandmother to attend her wedding. This was only made possible by the kindness and cooperation of Astor Care & Nursing Agency, who provided a carer to look after my mum. This entailed collecting Mum from her home in the morning, attending the church service and wedding reception and returning her to her home in the evening where she was then gotten ready for bed. I cannot praise the carer and Astor Care highly enough for their services. We all now share, as a family, cherished memories of a lovely day.

If you live in an area covered by Astor Care, I wholeheartedly recommend you look nowhere else for your carers. They are not the cheapest provider, but in our family's opinion, they are the best. They have not only provided an excellent standard of care for Mum's physical needs but have also helped with her complex mental health needs. In the couple of months they have provided 4 care visits p/day, we've seen Mum's physical and mental health dramatically improve. I live 200 miles away from Mum, so the app they give family access to is invaluable. It enables me to manage Mum's care needs, whilst still being able to get on with my own life. The office staff are available 24/7, so problems are easily solved with a quick phone call, even a problem like the hospital wanting to discharge Mum at 11 pm on a Friday night! Astor carers actually care. They don't just do as asked, they see what needs doing and get on with it. Reassuring for Mum and I when we live so far apart.

Astor took on care from May 2021 and had to deal with increasingly difficult client needs. They did this with great care and attention always adapting to the deteriorating patient's situation. They showed a good level of sympathy and understanding despite the current difficulties around staffing. It worked well to have one main carer who developed trust between client and carer and was excellent in coming up with new ideas and responding well to each new obstacle. Would firmly recommend Astor.

Very happy with the agency. The carers who work for Astor are great. They are punctual, diligent, respectful and caring, and friendly. I have been a client for over a year and they are much better than the agencies I have used in the past.

Astor Care agency had looked after mum for a while initially mornings, then afternoon visits too, and from December 21, overnight and evening care with her daughters coming in every day too. Nothing was too much trouble and they always went above and beyond with helping with Mum's care, professional, caring, advice-giving. Mum enjoyed having her carers in and they all made a good relationship with her. The last month was hard and the carers supported us as a family as well. Would highly recommend.

I started having Astor Care in May 2020. My son and daughter are amazed at the difference it has made and helped me to cope and it is nice to have a chat and laugh with them all. My life has been lifted to a higher level due to Abbot Care.

We could not be happier with the care my Nan receives. Astor was recommended to us because of their reputation. Which has exceeded anything we could have hoped for. My Nan loves the carers, there’s continuity and the carers always go above and beyond. The app provides reassurance and an opportunity to keep up to date and pick up any concerns as soon as they arise. This transparency offers peace of mind to family members. We feel so much more at ease knowing that our Mum/Nan is getting such excellent genuine care.

Astor Care provided care for both my Mum and Dad and were professional, kind, caring and compassionate. All the carers we met were ready to help in any way they could. Astor provided continuity of carer whenever possible which helped my parents build a real friendship with their carer.

At this time I am very satisfied.

Unfortunately, I have had to have carers. Thought I might be bothered about being washed and dressed but it's all been fine. All carers are kind and considerate and put you at ease. They do what I need and now know the routine and where everything belongs. They do things like I would do for myself when I could. I am happy when here. The company is nice.

A bit reluctant to recommend in case it resulted in present carer being transferred to another client! Limited experience but extremely pleased with present carer's understanding, help, willingness to provide any assistance.
