I would thoroughly recommend Astor to anyone who needs care in their home.

The care and commitment of the carers looking after my wife during her illness was second to none. Operating out of the Bordon office, all carers treated my wife with dignity and professionalism. It was confidence building to see how the carers, some quite young people, built up a relationship with my wife, building trust in whatever functions they had to perform to get the job done. All care was undertaken with my wife's well-being as the paramount focus in everything they did. Confined to bed, she eventually looked forward to their visits regularly asking me what time they were coming. She saw the visits as a friendly chat as well as the necessary care that had to take place. On meeting wider members of the family, they too commented on their care and professionalism and the friendly manner in which they performed their duties. Thank you Astor Care for helping to make my wife's last few weeks as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

The carers are experienced ladies, resourceful, versatile and very helpful. They are attentive. I am very deaf and when they accompany me to an appointment, they intercept what is being said and relay it to me afterwards.

Astor Care provided care for my mother in the 3 months before her death. We started with a morning carer and gradually increased to 3 carers a day. Very good time keeping and helping patients when toileting, willing and happy to do extra things e.g posting a letter, folding clothes and bed linen after washing and drying. Adjusting my choice of clothes for going out on scooter or going to my meetings.

Our son has Cerebral Palsy and Astor have helped with his care for the last five years. The carers have always been extremely caring, attentive, efficient and friendly towards him. They have to cook his evening meal for him and keep his house clean (he lives on his own in a 4 bed house). The supervision and the behind the scenes work has also been exemplary and friendly. You could ask no more from a care agency.

Both carers and admin staff have been extremely helpful in helping me with caring for my disabled wife. They have been polite and courteous, and their help and advice has been invaluable.
