We approached Astor Care Agency to look after our mother whilst I (her carer) was in hospital for hip replacement and recovery.
They were always very accommodating as to our needs when my sister was not available to help and dealt with mum with care and dignity.
We were very pleased with their approach
and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Astor Care provided care for my mother in the 3 months before her death. We started with a morning carer and gradually increased to 3 carers a day. Mum regarded the carers as part of her family and found their company very enjoyable. Astor Care management respond quickly to crises. I would recommend
Astor Care to anyone needing carers.

Very good time keeping and helping patients when toileting, willing and happy to do extra things e.g posting a letter, folding clothes and bed linen after washing and drying. Adjusting my choice of clothes for going out on scooter or going to my meetings.

Our son has Cerebral Palsy and Astor have helped with his care for the last five years. The carers have always been extremely caring, attentive, efficient and friendly towards him. They have to cook his evening meal for him and keep his house clean (he lives on his own in a 4 bed house). The supervision
and the behind the scenes work has also been exemplary and friendly. You could ask no more from a care agency.

Both carers and admin staff have been extremely helpful in helping me with caring for my disabled wife. They have been polite and courteous, and their help and advice has been invaluable.

It has been over a period of around 10 months, and as well as actual physical care, they have given numerous

helpful tips on who and where to find help on all sorts of related matters.

Following a spell in hospital and feeling weak on discharge, Astor Care was recommended to me as an agency that could fulfil my requirements; their services started in 2014.
I now have regular staff members who each report on a particular day of the week, arriving always at the same time convenient
to my daily routine and this arrangement is essential and important to my well-being. The staff are caring and friendly and I appreciate their help and presence.

I found Astor Care a thoroughly professional agency and the personnel with whom I dealt with were always cheerful and willing to go the extra mile to ensure my aunt was treated with care, understanding and respect. Every request was dealt with courtesy and the many short notice problems were solved
with patience. All in all, Astor Care have been an absolutely tremendous support to me in looking after my aunt from a distance of 200 miles away.

My mother was supported by Astor Care Agency over a period of 2 and a half years, as she became increasingly fragile, the care increased from one to four visits a day.
Throughout this period the quality, consistency and dedication of all the carers went beyond my high expectations.
There was always
good communication between them and the regular visits the same carers, allowed for a high level of continuity. I know my mother really appreciated this at all times dealing with both the head office team and the front line staff. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble, whatever the circumstances, along with a genuine caring attitude.

We receive excellent care and support from our carer. She has provided willing to go the extra mile to support my parents during building works which would have otherwise caused them additional disturbance.
