RV Extra Care Devon

I cannot recommend RV Extra Care highly enough. My mother was looked after by the team for 12 years up to January 2024. During that time she had the highest quality of care, always professional, but also extremely kind and considerate too; I would say that she was properly embraced into their family curtilage. They never missed a beat in rain, shine, Covid or anything else. They watched over her and were always there, as my mother marched on into her 90s. She could not have lived independently without them. The team were also excellent at keeping in touch with me, her daughter, so that we could manage any changing circumstances together in what was always a very caring, supportive partnership. As Mother was briefly in the onsite care home, before she died, the RV Extra Care were there alongside her, watching over her still around their day jobs, as I scrambled to get back in time. I shall forever be grateful for all they have done for us both.

RV Extra Care is an excellent care company who provide amazing care suited to the client and family situation. They looked after my mum for five years, sadly she passed away in November 2023. I lived with Mum and was her full-time carer and without the support of this team of professional, caring, adaptable team, I would not have coped. They provided care three times a day and Mum always looked forward to the visits as they became like family and good friends but always maintained a professional, kind, caring level of care. The office managers are fantastic, very easy to talk to and listen to your needs and concerns. As Mum became frailer, the care and visits were quickly adapted to provide for her changing needs, The staff are excellently trained and supported by the managers. Their attention in providing personal care for Mum was amazing, she became immobile and incontinent and she never had a sore spot on her body. I will always be grateful for the care and laughter that they brought us both.

RV Care are fabulous. Recently I have had a few mobility issues but with the support of this amazing team of people I have regained some strength which has enabled me to remain mostly independent. I have been receiving care for some years now and have achieved so much with RV. Nothing is ever too much to ask. Everyone is kind and caring and the care I receive is amazing, they always go the extra mile every time.

Without a doubt, it is the skilled and dedicated care and support provided by RV Care that enables my mother-in-law with advanced Alzheimer’s to remain in her own home. As a family we are reassured daily by the responsive and adaptable abilities of the care staff to meet my mother-in-law's needs; their communication, kindness, respect and understanding are exceptional. Having a great manager who, in our opinion, demonstrates superb leadership qualities means that RV is a slick, well-run provider of care services. We as a family count our blessings every day that RV Care is there for her and us. Thank you.

All the staff who visit my parents 3 times a day are amazing. They not only provide the care my parents need, taking the weight off my shoulders but are very friendly and hard-working. They are very reliable and I would highly recommend RV Extra Care Devon.

RV Extra Care in Honiton were recommended to me by an independent carer. They were able to start visiting relatively quickly and have been very reliable and efficient. It is so helpful that a fairly small group of carers are allocated to visit as this has allowed them to get to know my mother-in-law and so has made the provision of personal care a lot easier. All those that visit are really lovely people, professional, thorough, caring and kind. The management team are great too, from the very first contact and on an ongoing basis they have made the whole process very smooth, communication is good and they are very approachable. We have been using their service for 5 months now and the difference they have made to our lives is huge. As mother-in-law lives with us we previously had the stress of trying to undertake every aspect of her care whilst continuing to manage our own lives and family, but now that stress has been removed the whole situation is far more sustainable. I just wanted to thank the staff of the Exeter branch of RV Extra for caring for my husband so well before he passed on the 20th December 2019. He always had a smile for them they took care of him really well and were so gentle with him. My flat use to be full of a lot of people who looked after him day and night. It's very quite now, but a lot of memories so thank you for your service. If any of the ladies and men who helped would like to come and see me I would love to hear their memories of my husband.

The management team are also excellent - friendly, conscientious and well-organised. My wife and I both feel really well-supported by this brilliant organisation, which makes an enormous positive difference to our lives!

RV Care Ltd came to help my Nan with her personal care whilst she was staying with me for 2 weeks. They were lovely, kind and extremely helpful with Nan and she enjoyed their company. She is quite an independent 97 year old but she felt safe and very happy to have extra assistance with the carers which was a massive relief for me! We would 100% recommend RV Care and when Nan visits again we will certainly be in contact again. Many thanks
