RV Extra Care in Honiton were recommended to me by an independent carer. They were able to start visiting relatively quickly and have been very reliable and efficient. It is so helpful that a fairly small group of carers are allocated to visit as this has allowed them to get to know my mother-in-law
and so has made the provision of personal care a lot easier. All those that visit are really lovely people, professional, thorough, caring and kind. The management team are great too, from the very first contact and on an ongoing basis they have made the whole process very smooth, communication is good and they are very approachable. We have been using their service for 5 months now and the difference they have made to our lives is huge. As mother-in-law lives with us we previously had the stress of trying to undertake every aspect of her care whilst continuing to manage our own lives and family, but now that stress has been removed the whole situation is far more sustainable. Thank you RV Extra Care.

I just wanted to thank the staff of the Exeter branch of RV Extra for caring for my husband so well before he passed on the 20th December 2019. He always had a smile for them they took care of him really well and were so gentle with him. My flat use to be full of a lot of people who looked after him
day and night. It's very quite now, but a lot of memories so thank you for your service. If any of the ladies and men who helped would like to come and see me I would love to hear their memories of my husband.

RV Care Ltd has been looking after me for at least six years now (I have had MS for over thirty years, and my limbs are largely paralysed – in fact, I’m triplegic). I also had a period of treatment for bladder-cancer, which involved special precautions against infection, and extra work due to increased
continence problems.
Using hoists and other equipment, the RV Care staff get me out of bed in the morning, shower and dress me, and put me into my electric wheelchair, and then put me to bed at night. (During the day, my wife takes over…).
The carers working for RV Care are both friendly and efficient. It is clear that a lot of effort is given to training them in the physical and emotional aspects of their work, and they are confident and sensitive.
The management team are also excellent - friendly, conscientious and well-organised. My wife and I both feel really well-supported by this brilliant organisation, which makes an enormous positive difference to our lives!

RV Care Ltd came to help my Nan with her personal care whilst she was staying with me for 2 weeks. They were lovely, kind and extremely helpful with Nan and she enjoyed their company. She is quite an independent 97 year old but she felt safe and very happy to have extra assistance with the carers which
was a massive relief for me! We would 100% recommend RV Care and when Nan visits again we will certainly be in contact again. Many thanks

RV Care Ltd became part of my family 3 years ago when my father became permanently wheelchair-bound.
My mother was the main carer and RV Care Ltd took some of the pressure off and allowed her a little freedom without loosing control of my father's care.
The standard of care and the professional way
it was provided would be very hard to match. They came in twice a day every day to get him up and put him to bed. The carers were phenomenal, kind, gentle and respectful. They treated my father with dignity and compassion throughout. They also provided support for my mother with gentle humour and empathy. Due to my mother and the carers, my father had no catheter-associated UTIs or skin breakdown which is testament to amazing care.
I live in another country and knowing that these wonderful kind loving people were looking after my father was a huge weight off my shoulders.
Right up, to my father's dying day, RV Care Ltd went above and beyond for my family.
My family express the deepest gratitude and sincere thanks to you all.
