The CHD Care at Home branch in Southwest Surrey provide domiciliary care and support to those living in their own homes in the Surrey and Hampshire regions. Surrounded by the beautiful Surrey countryside, Capital House is home to a team of passionate caregivers who are dedicated to providing person-centred care and companionship to the community.

The branch is owned and operated by CHD Living Ltd. CHD Care at Home aim to enable service users to retain their independence and to live autonomously with the assistance of carers in daily living.

I cannot thank CHD Living enough for the short time that they cared for my Mum which unfortunately was cut short due to her not being able to live independently at home anymore because of her increased frailty. From the start they were extremely caring, professional and friendly, the manager took time
to come and see Mum whilst she was in respite to find out all about her and her likes and dislikes and my Mum was really impressed with this. The carers that looked after my Mum daily were amazing, they struck up a rapport with her immediately and certainly brightened her day. My Mum had nothing but praise for them and was only sorry that she'd not been able to use them sooner than she did. We would definitely recommend them without any hesitation.

The care my husband received from his carer was outstanding!
She enabled our family to have a lovely few days away and make memories to last a lifetime. I couldn't have done it without her.
She was extremely professional in everything she did. She put my husband at ease and he was happy with all the
care he received. She was very supportive of me as the second carer working with her.
She has a beautiful smile, kind words, lots of patience and nothing was too much trouble.
I really hope CHD look after their team well because she is amazing. We would highly recommend her to others and would like her to accompany us again on another trip. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts.

Very happy with the service, carers are happy and caring. Helpful and caring, the client has never looked so well looked after. The house is looking good as well. He is happy with the service. The office staff are really helpful.

The care agency, CHD Care at Home, have always been very helpful friendly and professional. The carers they provide are always on time and excellent in their service. If I have reason to cancel them at any time, the office staff are always very accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble.

My dad is well cared for. The carers look after him with kindness and are always cheerful. His medicines and food are scheduled per the doctor's instructions. This can include checks on his pain level and taking his temperature if needed. He is happy with his care.

Friendly caring staff, we and mum are very happy with her care providers. Those that visit on a daily basis are amazing and compassionate, as are the office staff who are always very accommodating with any changes needed, which are dealt with very efficiently.

Over the past year, the carers have been a tremendous help, providing visits twice daily. This month has been especially important as they assisted her in preparing for a couple of appointments. However, it's not always easy for them; there are times when she declines assistance and expects us to take

Mum has been receiving care from CHD Care at Home since September of this year (2024). Overall, mum and us, as a family, are satisfied with the service she receives and extremely grateful that she gets this attention on a regular basis. She lives in Surrey and we reside in Devon and, though, we get
to see her as much as our lives allow, it is peace of mind that she has this care. It allows mum to retain as much independence as possible whilst living in her treasured home. The only negative mum encounters is that the calls can be irregular in their times and she can get very distressed if thrown from her routine of showering etc.

The carers look after my dad four times a day and help him with getting up and dressing. He can be a bit grumpy, they have a chat with him after they sorted out there tasks. They arrive more or less at the times allocated and I am very happy with the service the carers provide.

Excellent professional service.
CHD Care at Home are sometimes asked to supply a carer for Mum at short notice if she is unable to attend her regular club, this is much appreciated, and we never get let down.

CHD started home visits to my mum in February 2024. The visits were 4 times a day funded by the council and lasted approximately 6 weeks. As Mum still needed the care visits after this time, we were then in a position to have to find carers which my mum had to start self-funding. Both my mum and I were
pleased with how one member of staff in particular and her team had looked after Mum so we had no hesitation in asking them to continue with Mum's visits.
Before my mum's fall, she was totally independent, however, the recovery has been tough and all of us have had to deal with a lot of people who, in the politest words, are not always on the same page. My mum's care team made the transition from council funding to self-funding seamless including the same carers visiting. As mum continues to improve we have been able to adjust the amount of days she requires the visits by calling the office and sorting it out with them.

My mother engaged CHD to assist her following a fall and received assistance at home with early morning visits for almost two months. Her care package was assessed very professionally, and the carers were timely and provided invaluable support during a time of need. We feel that my mother's rehabilitation

My best carer comes on Saturday morning and evening to help me dress and undress, washes my back and legs and feet, puts cream on my legs and feet and puts my washing on and puts it in the spare bedroom to dry in the evening. One other carer comes on other days and doesn't do all this.

In general, most carers look after my mother very well with decency and respect. They dispense well her medications and suggest improvements where appropriate. On occasions there has been a little conflict with live-in carer and how she handles things, they should all work together and not against.

My regular carers come to visit me three times a day. They are always punctual, wake me gently and treat me with dignity and respect. They look after all of my personal needs. They go out of their way to make sure I'm comfortable and have got to know me very well. I am often in a lot of pain, they always
make sure that I am ok in bed and as comfortable as possible when they go. Always friendly and chatty, my regular carers brighten up my day.
