The CHD Care at Home branch in Southwest Surrey provide domiciliary care and support to those living in their own homes in the Surrey and Hampshire regions. Surrounded by the beautiful Surrey countryside, Capital House is home to a team of passionate caregivers who are dedicated to providing person-centred care and companionship to the community.

The branch is owned and operated by CHD Living Ltd. CHD Care at Home aim to enable service users to retain their independence and to live autonomously with the assistance of carers in daily living.

From companionship to 24/7 live-in care, at CHD Care at Home, their mission, always, is to provide high-quality services that meet the most intricate of individual needs.

I have received care from this company for approximately nine years now. The professional standard and dedication of the staff, particularly in the latter years, have been excellent. Very friendly staff that accommodate my needs to fit in with my hospital appointments when necessary. I look forward
to seeing my carers twice a day and love my phone calls from the office staff who keep me well informed of any changes. Overall, now very happy, thank you.

Lovely carers, very pleased with the care provided for my husband. They are all experienced with my husband's condition which is Parkinson's and dementia. They are doing a wonderful job.

I think that so far they’ve been always amazing, friendly, patient, nice and lovely! Amazing, wonderful, brilliant, excellent, friendliness, and I go to my college which I think is always a pleasure to have my carers come with me, funny and positive staff and I think that I would definitely recommend
this to some disabled people to have care in their houses now and because I think that maybe what the best part of their jobs is whenever they can see some smiles on their clients' faces.

Longdene has been caring for my 97-year-old mother, with very limited mobility, in her own home for the last months. The carers visit three times per day.
Everyone at Longdene has been especially good at caring for her individual needs. The office is always prompt to respond whenever I have any queries.
As
well as performing all the practical tasks the carers are always chatty and friendly throughout their visits.
We feel reassured that my mother is receiving reliable care, and most importantly, is able to remain in her own home, for which, she is extremely thankful.

I have two family members who receive a service from the manager and the team. The team are well managed, very personable and responsive. The support workers are lovely and have got to know both my family members well. Continuity of support worker is very good.

My father only received care from CHD Care at Home for a few months but in that time he had nothing but praise for them. Being very independent at 96 up till the time of his care, he was very apprehensive. But all his carers made him feel very at ease. He was in and out of hospital on several occasions
and each time he was discharged, whatever carer attending him on his return, always brought him some provision until he could get a delivery.
All the office staff are also very friendly and helpful. Whenever I needed advice on an issue I always got a swift positive reply.

We feel extremely lucky to have found CHD Care at Home; they have looked after my mother so well, and she has responded health-wise and been better this last year with CHD in attendance than the two previous years when she was trying to cater for herself at home. Thank you very much.

I am delighted with the service from CHD Care at Home - North Surrey. The carers seem happy to help me in all the tasks that need to be done in my home - ironing, helping me cook a meal, putting shopping away, emptying the dishwasher, personal washing, loading and emptying the washing machine. All this
help means I can be independent in my home. The carers have an excellent attitude. The management are approachable and address any problems.

Over the years, a large amount of management team has come and gone however, in recent months there appears to be a drastic improvement within the staff and running of the office. The carers that visit my loved one are amazing and the office always deals with any queries efficiently and promptly. I

My care workers are always cheerful, considerate and very caring. They generally arrive at the appropriate time, they do not hurry me and will always help with extra tasks such as loading my washing machine.

All the carers, except one, are efficient, kind and punctual and completely satisfactory. There have been three occasions when carers have arrived too late, I have not paid as my daughter and I were actually about to leave the house.

I cannot praise Longdene enough. Amazing service from all the carers and management team who are always available to contact with any issues.
They have been very sensitive to clash of personalities and have moved carers around so they no longer visit my mother.

My carers all treat me with respect, they will do most things I ask them to - they spend the time to talk to me. I have carers that cook good meals for me. They are all clean and tidy and we also have banter - I look forward to their visits.
