I am finding it a very good service for my husband. The only problem is he is very fretful with a male carer who is an excellent carer. I have no complaints at all at anything it gives me a good nights sleep.
I have been wheelchair-bound for 15 years now. My carer has got me out of the wheelchair and walking again, with help. This must be a miracle!
I have found the service of carers very good. There are some who do more than others (clearing up after lunch etc) but care work I can't fault. They are all very pleasant and arrive on time.
All these tasks were carried out with humour and good grace-carers took their time with my parents and got to know them well. Whilst there were a number of carers owing to scheduling constraints most of the time my parents had one or two key carers which they appreciated and everyone was kind, patient and considerate of the family as well as my parents.
I was very pleased with the level of service we had from Civicare - there were a couple of occasions when they needed medical care and Civicare staff contacted district nurses or waited until paramedic staff arrived. I felt that carers were knowledgable and had my parents best interest at heart.
The staff and care girls are very good.
I enjoy all the carers helping and visiting me every morning. They have been so kind to me and considerate. I am very grateful to everyone. They really do work so hard.
Overall very pleased with the service I have received over the past two and a half weeks. Would like to be notified of any change in rota i.e. Time or/and person calling on me. Staff very good and treat me very well.
Hi Angela, we ensure that we communicate with you regularly and will keep you updated with those changes. We are pleased that you are happy with the care staff you are receiving.
My experience with Civicare has been very beneficial to me, my carer has helped me greatly during my time with Civicare.
I don't think the staff have enough time to get from one call to the next, making them 5-10 minutes late most visits.
When dealing with dementia clients I think the same 2-3 carers should be sent to keep the consistency needed.
After reading the above comments, the Registered Manager contacted PF to discuss the matter and are now looking at ways to improve the service with the allocating team and will review the situation in 3 months.
Staff well trained, especially in emergencies.
Civicare helps my husband Mon-Fri each morning to wash and dress etc. Their carers are well trained and very pleasant. They are an excellent company to communicate with and we have recommended them to friends, who are equally pleased.
All care very good and helpful. They help me get meals and also see I am safely locked in at night.
It is a pleasure to provide care for this lady.
All the members of staff who attend to my father are thoughtful, considerate, polite and punctual. If ever there is a problem or concern, someone from Civicare (Central) Ltd always phones me. It is very reassuring to have such wonderful people who deal with my father's needs.
Thank you. Our care staff have loved being involved with the care for both your mum and dad.
May I take this opportunity to say a big thank you to you all who have so kind and patient helping me to gain strength. Through your support, I am so much stronger and look forward to a good life ahead. Once again, thank you.
Thank you for the incredible service that you provided over the last few days, the service has been second to none.
