The care provided is excellent, very helpful and the girls can't do enough to help me. I dread to think what my life would be like without the help I receive. If I could would have them longer than now.

I have worked with Ability Care since 2019. I find the job to be very rewarding, knowing the person you are caring for is able to remain in their own home with support and building a relationship where they know they can trust you and feel safe.
The most important skills I bring to my role as a care assistant are good communication, good organisation, being observant, trustworthy and empathetic. I feel it is important to always treat the service user as an individual and making sure their needs are met, with the dignity and respect they deserve.
I have worked with Ability Care since 2022. My role as a carer is to ensure I meet the needs of our service users to a high standard, and also to have a good relationship with them. It matters to me that each service user is an individual, and we should provide a good service that caters for them personally.
I find it rewarding to know I make a difference to our service users' day-to-day living and see them thriving and enjoying life, while maintaining independence in their own home.
I have worked with Ability Care since 2005. I am proud to work in the care sector, as I feel I am able to make a real difference to people’s lives. In my job role, I bring friendship, compassion, life skills, and confidence in any situation for the people I am supporting.
If I ever need care in future, I would like to be treated with dignity, compassion and understanding of my own individual situation.
