My brother has been cared for and supported by Ability Care for over 10 years. My brother is treated with respect and dignity. He is very much treated as an individual and his likes and dislikes are always taken into consideration.

I also have peace of mind that he is well cared for and he is always happy when they are there.

Mum is very happy with the service she gets. She says Karen is a lovely person. Karen has green in mums house when mum wasn't there. Mum has no problem with that at all. Mum likes the bit of company as well.

The care provided is excellent, very helpful and the girls can't do enough to help me. I dread to think what my life would be like without the help I receive. If I could would have them longer than now.

I have worked with Ability Care since 2019. I find the job to be very rewarding, knowing the person you are caring for is able to remain in their own home with support and building a relationship where they know they can trust you and feel safe.

The most important skills I bring to my role as a care assistant are good communication, good organisation, being observant, trustworthy and empathetic. I feel it is important to always treat the service user as an individual and making sure their needs are met, with the dignity and respect they deserve.

I have worked with Ability Care since 2022. My role as a carer is to ensure I meet the needs of our service users to a high standard, and also to have a good relationship with them. It matters to me that each service user is an individual, and we should provide a good service that caters for them personally.

I find it rewarding to know I make a difference to our service users' day-to-day living and see them thriving and enjoying life, while maintaining independence in their own home.

I have worked with Ability Care since 2005. I am proud to work in the care sector, as I feel I am able to make a real difference to people’s lives. In my job role, I bring friendship, compassion, life skills, and confidence in any situation for the people I am supporting.

If I ever need care in future, I would like to be treated with dignity, compassion and understanding of my own individual situation.
