I was very impressed by the dedication and compassion shown by Jane Caress carers when looking after my next-door neighbour. They were friendly and trustworthy and their devotion to him was never in question. He always looked forward to their visits and they were a real tonic for him, especially in his later years. I recommend them to anyone looking for someone to care for a loved one.

Jane Caress and her team looked after my very elderly father in his house for over three years, including right through the pandemic and until his very peaceful death at home aged 94. The team cooked, shopped and cleaned for my father but most of all provided company and friendship. In the last year or so they provided personal care too and everything was always to the highest standard of professionalism and good cheer. Very highly recommended.

Having been in hospital and needing help with personal care on discharge, I chose Jane Caress Ltd because my brother and a friend had used them and had excellent service. Initially, the manager visited me at home and took note of all my details, background, family, interests and care needs. This allowed her to match a carer with me and agreed on the frequency of visits. Their care was excellent, and as well as personal care, they were able to assist with anything else I needed help with.

I have no hesitation in recommending them.

As I was under 65 when I started and not physically disabled, I couldn't find a care company who would help me. The staff are extremely helpful; they are professional and show great welcome and sensitivity to what is needed. I feel very understood. An agoraphobic is very misunderstood, I have been helped to realise my worth.

The care we received from Jane Caress Ltd was outstanding. Excellent care received for my mum in palliative care stages and end of life care. I cannot recommend Jane Caress Ltd highly enough. My daughter was getting married, and it was important to her that her grandmother be able to attend. My mother was not well enough to be there for the whole wedding, and we needed someone to look after her and bring her home early. A friend recommended Jane Caress, and when we contacted them, they immediately wanted to help, even though it was not something they usually did. Both the owner and carer who would be with us on the day came to meet Mum and I beforehand, and Mum kept remarking how nice they both were. On the day, the carer was invaluable. She helped Mum get organised when the house was in panic mode, without being asked. The carer looked after her at the ceremony and then brought her home. She stayed with Mum until she went to bed. I was able to enjoy the wedding knowing Mum was well taken care of. It meant so much to her and to all the family that she was able to be at the wedding.

I can't praise Jane Caress highly enough. My dad lived alone, and it was important to him to stay as independent as possible for as long as possible. When we started looking into home care, Jane Caress came highly recommended. The managing director organised a home visit, and we were reassured by her knowledge, professionalism and empathy. The support workers, without exception, were absolutely fantastic with Dad. They were so kind, caring, compassionate, and went above and beyond on many occasions. Dad was a private man who struggled with change and meeting new people, but because the support workers shared his sense of humour, he so looked forward to their visits. Dads needs, and therefore care plan frequently changed due to Alzheimer's. Changes were quickly and seamlessly implemented, and I must praise the girls in the office who were always super helpful and patient with me on the numerous times I needed to make updates. I would, without hesitation, recommend the Jane Caress team to anyone looking for home care.

The manager and her excellent team took on both my parents at a critical time and at short notice. The manager made a very detailed assessment of their care plan, and although very busy, managed to arrange a care rota very quickly. All of the team were lovely, caring people. The manager made herself available 24/7 for advice, especially as my parents needs changed during their period of care. She provided lots of additional advice concerning social care in general, learned from her many years in the business.

Jane Caress offered the most fantastic service of care to my mother at a time of unparalleled difficulty with Covid and the lockdowns. Always prepared to help. Their service went above and beyond and was perfectly tailored around the individual.

Jane Caress Ltd provided a flexible service over 2 years for my disabled husband up to his death in August 2020. The managing director comes to the house and provides a full care plan based on our conversations, which she frequently updates as necessary. She is caring and assiduous and helpful in obtaining allowances and equipment and liaises with health professionals. The care workers provided are well-vetted, absolutely honest and work to the highest professional standard. They are very friendly.

My father was looked after with dignity and respect. He looked forward to the carers visiting him each day and was able to rely on them for care and conversation. I live 70 miles away so was not able to visit as often as I would have liked. It was a great comfort to know that he was so well looked after. They responded quickly when he had health care emergencies and went above and beyond to look after him. Can't praise them highly enough!

My parents unexpectedly requested support between Christmas and New Year. The manager and her team reacted immediately and extremely professionally. As a result, I was able to arrange help within days. Over the following eight months, I was immediately informed of any issues regarding my parents and consulted regarding changes in support needs. I always felt that my parents were in great hands and they too really appreciated the manager's ladies help. Highly recommended.

Dad looked forward to the staff coming to call to do the things needed and then a friendly chat.

When you're trying to find care for a loved one so they can stay in their own home and be cared for, respected and listened to, it's an emotional and difficult time. The team at Jane Caress were fabulous, the carers listened, supported, encouraged and cared. There was advice when I needed it from the office team. I can't thank them all enough. Mum was reluctant to have any help but learnt to trust, like and value the Jane Caress team.

Very professional company and nothing was too much trouble when plans had to be altered at short notice.

For the past 6 years, my mother has been helped to live with me at our home by having carers from Jane Caress without having to have live in care. The girls have been so kind, really interacting with Mum, very willing to go the extra mile. We have had many different girls bringing different attributes. The office was very helpful in finding extra cover when needed. I would certainly recommend them to friends.
