Appletree House, Leyburn Road, Masham, Ripon HG4 4PF
Jane Caress Ltd - is a long-standing company based just outside of Masham, North Yorkshire that aims to assist people with needs to live independently in the community, by giving each person choice and control as to whom comes to look after them and at times that suit them.
Clients receive the same support workers, so it is never a strange face arriving at a person's home.
Before they commence with any client they visit the client and from information given an in-depth person centre care plan is put together.
They don't go to anyone for less than an hour, as they believe that clients should not be rushed.
They can do anything from one hour a week to 24-hour care, and can take people to appointments or provide companionship.
They are registered to support anyone over the age of 18 upwards. The clients they support have a range of needs such as:

Directions: The offices are located in a house which sits alongside the main Masham to Leyburn road (A6108), approximately half way between Masham and Jervaulx Abbey Tea Rooms. Coming from Masham, after about 2 miles of fairly straight road, it bends round to the right and then there is a sharp bend to the left, where you will see a small single-storey stone cottage on the right. Continue around the next sharp bend and Appletree House is on the following sharp bend on the right hand side of the road, beside a small track. Turn right onto this track and park at the back of the house or nearby, ensuring that the track is clear. Coming from the Leyburn direction, after passing Middleham, East Witton, Jervaulx Abbey and the Brymor Ice Cream Parlour (High Jervaulx), continue driving for about a mile, passing a wood on the right. After the wood, the road bends sharply round to the left and Appletree House is on the left, behind a double hedge. Turn left onto the track and park at the back of the house or nearby, ensuring that the track is clear. NB Please ignore Sat Nav instructions which direct you further down the track to a neighbouring property with the same postcode. (If travelling from the south via the A1, leave at junction 50 and follow the signs to Masham. If travelling from the north, leave the A1 at junction 51, take the new ring road signposted Leyburn, but turn left into Bedale at the A684 roundabout and then turn right in Bedale, following signs to Masham.)
