Unfortunately due to a really bad fall when my Mother was out wandering, she has since been moved into full-time residential care at a care home in Taunton which is much closer to me.
I can't thank the carers enough for all they did while they were looking after Mum.
I am very pleased with the care and support that I am receiving from the carers. They are very knowledgeable about everything and are quick with doing the chores, bedmaking, emptying the dishwasher, bringing the milk in etc. They are always very punctual as they work in Charminster, and that is where I live. I will definitely be using you again in the future for your continuing help that I do appreciate.
Best regards.
Main negative point is having different staff. Some are more sympathetic than others. Have not been asked for my preferences. I am very independent so it is hard to find tasks that fill my one hour. May reduce to half an hour.
Thank you for your feedback. We will always try to send regular care staff however at times this is not always possible due to a number of reasons such as sickness and annual leave. We have now reduced visits to half an hour but please do reach out if any more changes are required. Best regards.
Staff lovely - care excellent. I wish someone who works out the journey times for your carers would get in a car and do it themselves. These are mainly country roads, speed limits apply. Traffic lights, not only in towns. I live in Dorset - no motorway (thank goodness) a 30-mile journey here takes an average of 1 to 1.5 hours. The carers' local journeys here - 6 miles - 15 to 20 minutes!
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm pleased you feel that the care you are receiving is excellent. Thank you for bringing travel times to our attention and we will continue to review our routes of care. Best regards.
Get on well with most of the staff. Please to have regular visit times at the time promised on the weekly rota. Need more help with my husband at times, when he gets difficult.
Thank you for your review. I'm pleased we were able to deliver regular visit times for your husband and I wish you both the best for the future. Best regards.
I use Agincare sitting service for my husband. I have always found that I have been able to book the date and times of my choice. The carers have all been punctual, very pleasant and helpful. They always leave the kitchen just as they found it and tidy up behind themselves. I would give ten out of ten for the service we have received.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm pleased that you feel you are able to rate us 10/10 for the service you are receiving and will be sure to pass on your comments to the team. Best regards.
