I'm visiting my elderly relative for a couple of days and have met some of the staff. We have been using the services for 6 weeks now. The staff are lovely and kind. They are meeting resistance in these early days, though but keep smiling and do everything they can. We are satisfied overall with the service and communications received.
Very happy, the care is very good. They chat and make everyone comfortable. Thanks.
Alexandra's have looked after my brother for approximately a year. The carers have all been professional, kind, caring and cheerful, it is good to hear my brother laughing with them. They treat him with dignity. The office staff have been very helpful and well organised, nothing is too much trouble. I am very satisfied with Alexandra's care and feel my brother is in safe hands.
Carers are very helpful and friendly, the office staff always do their best to deal with any issues.
Recently had additional overnight carers which went very well.
Thank you for your continued support over the past two years. We're so pleased to hear the overnight care went smoothly and that both our carers and office team have been helpful. Your feedback means a lot to us all.
Well done!
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We're so pleased your mum is happy with her care, and it's great to hear the team's efforts to personalise and adapt the support have made a difference. We really appreciate your kind words.
I only scored the Agency a 4 star, simply because we have a lot of carers each week and if we had a few less to aid continuity I would award a 5 . I appreciate this might be difficult as we have double handed 4 times a day.
The office staff do all they can to assist in any requests/ concerns I may have and phone me to advise when the carers are delayed.
I am extremely happy with the service we receive, which has been ongoing for 2 and a half years now,
Thank you for your kind and honest feedback. We're so pleased to hear how much your husband enjoys the carers' visits, and we truly value your ongoing support over the past two and a half years. We understand the importance of continuity and really appreciate your understanding given the level of support needed. Your comments will be shared with the whole team.
We have no hesitation in recommending Alexandra's Community Care. In fact... we have already done so,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Alexandra's Community Care. It truly means a great deal to us that you placed your trust in our team during what can be a very uncertain time, especially when welcoming care into your home for the first time.
Help me to get undressed for bed. And check my pad and get me a drink.
Thank you for leaving us a review. It is great to hear that we are able to assist.
They vary according to who it is. Some are better than others. Some are more company and like to talk which is what we wanted in our care package. We want their presence along with chattiness.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Please do not hesitate to contact the office to discuss the carers you prefer to visit and to see if we can match others to meet your needs.
Very satisfactory in all respects other than sometimes having to wait up to 7 hours between visits. I need attention 4 times a day and waiting more than five hours can be difficult for me and stressful for my wife who is also disabled.
Thank you for leaving us a review. We are actively assessing your issue and hopefully, this will be resolved on your next visit.
Alexandra's Community care has provided excellent care for my wife since she was diagnosed with dementia over a year ago. Care has been very well organised and efficient. Individual carers are well trained and motivated and have shown just the right caring attitude to my wife.
Thank you for taking the time to write us such a lovely review. I will pass on to all the members of the team.
I have great care from Alexandra's and I am very happy with them, however, in the last few months times have changed and I have less hours at the moment. I do feel that they have not got enough staff as everyone seems to be later due to no travelling time. Overall the care I receive is second to none.
Thank you so much for your kind comments, and we appreciate your comments about hours and staff. We are working hard to resolve the staffing issues and we hope any knock-on issues of timing will be resolved very soon.
All the carers are friendly, carry out tasks with dignity. Nothing too much trouble.
Thank you for taking the time out to leave us such a lovely review.
Punctuality is sometimes poor.
After four weeks of your care, it's been a great help to know you have someone to care and help. My husband's memory dementia problem is very difficult, and myself invalid with poor health and a housebound position; thank you.
Sometimes I have concerns regarding any new younger carers as they do not convey what my mother needs and do not offer her what is available. My mother can be a difficult lady and some carers object, understandably, to her mood swings. The regular carers are her favourites and she objects to change.
Thank you for your honest feedback and comments about some of our new younger members. We were made aware and have made some changes to our processes to enable us to improve and provide a better service.
We will endeavour to ensure your mother has her regular carers and favourites, where possible.
Some carers are excellent and look after all the needs of the client and more, unfortunately half need to be reminded of the expectations. Excellent organiser with plenty of feedback from the manager. Would recommend the company.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review and provide us with a recommendation. We take all comments on board to ensure we can continue deliver a high standard.
