AMG Nursing & Care Services - Stone

All staff are very helpful and all management are helpful and will answer all calls and ask if all is good. Plus office staff help with all things and are on the end of the phone if needed.

We have been using AMG since May 2025. Our daughter has uncontrolled epilepsy & is complex in her needs. She lives in assisted living, but as her mum, I am finding it difficult to help her as much as I have been doing as I have health issues & am now in my 70's. We applied for funding with the help of my daughters social worker & AMG were recommended. Well, can I just say, what a difference having AMG looking after our daughter has made. Her whole life has opened up & she has gained her independence back. She was very down before as I couldn't take her out or do much with her as she needs a wheelchair when out & about & I am not well enough to be able to push the wheelchair. Well now, the girls from AMG take her shopping, supervise her batch cooking, share music & film days together, take her to the theatre, even living with our daughter 24/7 whilst we had a holiday, which our daughter was so thrilled with. We have our happy smiling daughter back.

We have been with AMG since 2019 and they have been very helpful in accommodating our needs by allocating a carer to our son according to hours allocated, and when we needed to do some changes, they have been supportive in doing so. I remember once we needed emergency cover for 24 hours and they made sure we got it. I am so grateful for the service they have provided to us till now and I will recommend them to anyone.

Always on time and efficient, yet caring and can engage with my wife even on the low days. With AMG you get exactly as described, and the coordination is spot on ie holidays and changes can be easily managed. Thank you AMG

After a very poor experience with adifferent care provider, I can only say positive things about AMG . All staff members that have covered shifts have all been nothing less than lovely. The office staff and managers are very supportive and understanding and have dealt with our situation very sensitively. Our son is much happier and is back enjoying life again and has even started his creative design and art work back up and is producing some incredible pieces, thats all thanks to the amazing support from his care team.

We have been registered with AMG Stone for approximately 12 months for our child who is autistic with quite complex health difficulties. All the carers have been very respectful, compassionate and understanding during this time. Our child takes time to warm to unfamiliar people, and the carers have been very patient, ensuring that they give the child the space and freedom whilst maintaining health and safety. My only concern would be the changes in staff over a short period of time, but I am aware this is an ongoing difficulty across the caring industry, so it is unavoidable at times.

AMG have been providing care for a few years now. They provide amazing care with so much empathy, dignity and respect. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They go above and beyond in everything they do. They never leave us without care, always happy and cheerful staff. We have such a lovely relationship which is very important when having carers in your home. Everyone in the office and management are so lovely too. If I need to contact them due to us having appointments. They are always going above and beyond too. Thank you AMG.

Wow, what team at AMG!! My husband was diagnosed with MND in August 2024. We have been receiving AMG since January 2025. What a positive difference this has made on our lives. Their knowledge, thoroughness and kindness is second to none and we Thank you. A Huge shout out to one man who has gone above and beyond whilst my husband has been in hospital. His Empathy and Genuine kindness has made this stay bearable for both of us, our friends and family. All carers are a credit to AMG

My Grandad would like to thank all of his care team who do a fantastic job, every single day. Without their support and encouragement, his recovery from hospital would not have been anywhere near as successful. The office staff are very efficient and excellent at choosing the right team

Thank you to all the ladies who've looked after our mum, very caring and great support to us as a family. Attended to all her needs and more giving her the confidence to get back to a bit more of being herself. Cannot fault at all knowing that she's had the best care.

All staff are exceptional, kind and caring and always concerned for my husband's welfare. They are prompt to arrive and always bright and cheerful. They do their best to entertain and amuse him or play some music or read to him.

AMG looked after my husband who had complex needs 24/7 for several weeks in our home. They were professional at all times and the staff was well-trained, considerate, and respectful. I couldn't have wished for more under very stressful circumstances. I was pleasantly surprised at the charges which were considerably less than I had been quoted by other agencies in the area. Altogether a very positive experience.

We have been very lucky over the past few years that the care worker who now works with my brother is absolutely brilliant. He always gives 100% and more, and keeps me informed as to any issue, both good and concerning, so these can be praised or dealt with, as needed. My brother is quite demanding at times in his reluctance to follow agreed actions is a nightmare, but his carer keeps trying to help him move forward and not deteriorate further. I feel very lucky to have our current carer; it makes a tremendous difference!

When starting with AMG, the care was outstanding, and all calls were covered by regular staff. In the last few months, the care has not been as consistent. I appreciate that all care companies are struggling to recruit staff, but obviously, this is no help to me. I only have a couple of regular staff who do more than a couple of shifts. I have had an increase in hours which they struggle to cover at a weekend. They have offered unfamiliar staff, but this is not of any use as it is supposed to be to give myself and my husband a break. Due to the complex needs of our child, the staff need to know them very well before being able to take a step back. Some staff who have been have not had shadow shifts or enough shadow shifts to be shown everything required. This leaves me and the staff member uneasy. Hopefully, things will get back to how they used to be at some point soon.

I have never met the manager.

AMG services have met every need and beyond. All staff are excellent in their care/support, and management will deal with any issues that are presented straight away.

As a parent, I am at present very satisfied with all aspects of my son's care. He now has a full team of carers who are committed, efficient and friendly. The office staff are also very friendly and efficient in sorting his rotas.

Have had AMG for eleven years, have been a few issues over the years but since the new management and office staff I can say they have done and amazing put the client's needs first, would and do recommend the company.
