We have been registered with AMG Stone for approximately 12 months for our child who is autistic with quite complex health difficulties. All the carers have been very respectful, compassionate and understanding during this time. Our child takes time to warm to unfamiliar people, and the carers have been very patient, ensuring that they give the child the space and freedom whilst maintaining health and safety. My only concern would be the changes in staff over a short period of time, but I am aware this is an ongoing difficulty across the caring industry, so it is unavoidable at times.

AMG looked after my husband who had complex needs 24/7 for several weeks in our home. They were professional at all times and the staff was well-trained, considerate, and respectful. I couldn't have wished for more under very stressful circumstances. I was pleasantly surprised at the charges which were considerably less than I had been quoted by other agencies in the area. Altogether a very positive experience.

We have been very lucky over the past few years that the care worker who now works with my brother is absolutely brilliant. He always gives 100% and more, and keeps me informed as to any issue, both good and concerning, so these can be praised or dealt with, as needed. My brother is quite demanding at times in his reluctance to follow agreed actions is a nightmare, but his carer keeps trying to help him move forward and not deteriorate further. I feel very lucky to have our current carer; it makes a tremendous difference!

When starting with AMG, the care was outstanding, and all calls were covered by regular staff. In the last few months, the care has not been as consistent. I appreciate that all care companies are struggling to recruit staff, but obviously, this is no help to me. I only have a couple of regular staff who do more than a couple of shifts. I have had an increase in hours which they struggle to cover at a weekend. They have offered unfamiliar staff, but this is not of any use as it is supposed to be to give myself and my husband a break. Due to the complex needs of our child, the staff need to know them very well before being able to take a step back. Some staff who have been have not had shadow shifts or enough shadow shifts to be shown everything required. This leaves me and the staff member uneasy. Hopefully, things will get back to how they used to be at some point soon.

Donna has been with AMG since 2009 and has completed a variety of roles within the company. She started out working ad hoc for the payroll department and quickly progressed to become a Care Coordinator at the Stone branch.
Donna has also held positions in quality control and management at the Crewe Branch before transferring to Stone in August 2022. She and her team strive to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to all their clients. They continuously seek ways to enhance their client's lives by going the extra mile. Donna and her team have successfully arranged funding for several clients, allowing them to enjoy a holiday for the first time in years, thus improving their quality of life.
They maintain a strong focus on achieving positive outcomes and recently received a rating of "Good" from the CQC (Care Quality Commission).
