The care coordinator has gone over and above every step of the way. She has communicated amazingly well with me and kept me up to date with any issues that needed to be resolved. She has liaised with other agencies including Social Services to ensure my mum is safe and as well cared for as possible.
The carers are, without exception, wonderfully patient and make my mum feel valued as a person and ensure her wishes are catered to. They guide her to make her own choices enabling her to be as independent as possible and maintaining her dignity.
She thinks of the carers as her friends who pop around.
I cannot recommend Barnfield Homecare highly enough. They care for my mum as a person and not just a client.

After a short stay in hospital and three weeks in a care home (which Mum did not like), we contacted Barnfield Homecare to arrange live-in care. This has been excellent and the best care we could get for Mum. An excellent service and I can’t thank them enough.

My sister and I wanted our dad to spend his last few weeks in his own home with his faithful dog beside him. After doing some research we chose Barnfield Homecare to make that happen for us. Our Dad received 24/7 coverage via a live-in carer with support from other carers and nurses. Our dad's health quickly deteriorated and the care team were fast to respond to the changes to ensure Dad did not suffer. My sister and I have no hesitation in recommending Barnfield Homecare.

Lovely friendly carers who treat my mum with respect and dignity. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They go above and beyond what they need to do and are part of the family. Mum is very fond of them all.
During the initial assessment they were friendly and thorough, put my cousin and me at ease, and quickly built rapport and confidence by asking such good questions, sensitively and most importantly, listening to the questions we had - giving such reassuringly clear explanations. Their flexibility and genuineness came through especially well.
In the conversations and meetings I had with Barnfield - it was clear they really do have a very person-centred approach. I have no hesitation in recommending them for serious consideration - if you - or a relative - have home care support needs in Stratford upon Avon.
They are local – ‘on the doorstep’ - a relatively small caregiver – with a big heart and a warm smile.

Lovely, kind carers who looked after my partner very well. Everyone at Barnfield Homecare has been very helpful and made sure that we received the help we needed. What a lucky find! From our first meeting, it was obvious that Barnfield is very professional and client orientated. Our wishes and needs were carefully considered and the package put together was exactly what my husband and I both want at the moment. We have been told that should we need more care in the future, it will be available. Our carer is doing an amazing job, his colleague who stands in for him is also very good. I have 2 male carers one stays overnight which allows my wife to go to our son's for one day respite. The other comes the other days and stays to dress me and get me ready for the day and pm to get me ready for bed not to go to bed my wife and I do that later. Both carers are very good.

However, a fact sheet would be helpful, so this can be given to the non-regular carers so they are fully aware of his daily needs and routine, i.e medication, variety of food etc. There is currently no regular feedback system in place for me to see how if there are any immediate further needs and updates on his well-being.

On the whole, Barnfield was efficient. They were particularly helpful when we needed a carer urgently at very short notice. One thing that could have been improved was the cover for the existing live-in carer, this seemed to be quite unreliable and we always had to chase for this. This aside I would be happy to recommend them, and they were far cheaper than some other local providers.

Good standard of care. Polite, friendly and approachable staff. Having these carers visit my mum while I was shielding and therefore unable to visit was invaluable. The care plans are written clearly and allow relatives to read how the care is going.

With over 15 years of hands-on experience in the care sector and an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care, I’m passionate about delivering safe, high-quality, and truly person-centred care. I take the time to visit each client and their family personally, to understand their individual needs, preferences, and routine, because no two people are the same, and neither is the care they receive.
From our very first meeting, your loved one’s well being becomes my priority. I work closely with families to create care plans that are tailored, reflect individual preferences, and remain flexible, ensuring the support we provide fits naturally into their lives and brings real peace of mind.

For the past 5 years, I've been a dedicated member of the Barnfield Homecare team. As a Care Coordinator, I not only schedule client visits but also manage our company systems. I'm passionate about providing excellent care and supporting our community.
My role focuses on ensuring all clients receive the care they need while building strong relationships with both our carers and their families. Ultimately, I strive to create a supportive and positive environment for everyone involved.
I have worked in the health and social care sector for 14 years, with hands-on experience in care, office-based roles, and 24-hour care facilities. In May 2023, I joined Barnfield Homecare as the Care Coordinator for our Tamworth branch.
I have a particular passion for supporting individuals with complex care needs and dementia, and I find it incredibly rewarding to make a difference in people's lives through compassionate, well-organised care.
My focus is on enabling clients of all care needs to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. I carry out regular visits to complete assessments and reviews, working closely with families and other agencies to ensure each care plan remains responsive and person-centred.
I manage the rota to make sure all visits are covered reliably, and any last-minute changes are handled smoothly. Alongside this, I carry out regular spot checks and staff meetings to support our team and maintain the high standards of care we are proud to provide.
