Overall Experience
One of the carers came and tried to make breakfast for my mother. First, she put cooking margarine on the toast, then the second slice was not to my mother's liking. The carer's response was 'well get up and make it yourself '. My mother was very upset as she is an invalid and finds getting up by herself very difficult. I asked her to leave and phoned Bluebird to terminate their service.

Some of the other carers were quite nice but my mother was not happy having different people at different times each day.

Overall Experience

I'm speaking for my parents as my father is the patient being cared for. From my brief meetings with some of the carers and my parent's comments to me, I only have positive reactions to share. If my parents were not happy with the service I would be the first to hear. Thanks, Bluebird.

Overall Experience

On the whole excellent, only twice not so good but they were very young and I thought they needed more training. They were pleasant in themselves but did not know what to do so I had to show them and I was paying for this. I am 91 but my brain is still working, the District Nurses say my body is giving up but I have the brain of a teenager. Thank you.

Overall Experience

My mother is in her mid nineties and has memory loss. The excellent care she has received from Bluebird Care Bournemouth & Poole has enabled her to stay living in her own home. The carers are polite and treat her with competence, gentleness and respect. They assist her with washing and getting dressed, cooking meals, medication, shopping and always have time to stop and chat to her. I am particularly impressed with the way the office keeps contact with me by phone or email and very rapidly, if the carers notice anything that is a concern. This has been especially important in the last year when we as a family have not been able to visit as often as we would like.

Overall Experience

Mum has always praised the help from the carers and when able to meet them I can see why. Nothing is too much trouble. Whenever Mum has a problem I have been able to speak to someone and things are always sorted out very quickly.

We have found Bluebird Care Bournemouth to be staffed by warm, caring, supportive care workers who are well supported and managed. Their out of hours support is excellent also. Our 82-year-old father, who is carer to our dementia-suffering mother, was initially against anyone supporting his care of Mum, but the Bluebird team have very quickly established a positive relationship with both of them.

Recently, a member of the care team arrived to help put Mum to bed and discovered Dad with a head wound (he had fallen over). I was unable to reach them, so the carer chose to stay with them until the paramedics arrived and only left when the out of hours Bluebird Manager arrived to take over. This shows how committed and professional all the team are, and also the respect that the carers are given; the out of hours support arrived to ensure the carer could get home. This encapsulates the quality of service and care offered to their clients also. I would strongly recommend Bluebird to everyone!

Our carer is a delightful, competent person to encourage and care for my wife who would otherwise sit watching television and would be reluctant to dress herself.

Our carer is happy to clear up the crockery and makes the bed. We are very happy to have her help.

A very professional organisation that listened to us and managed our needs. The carers were all excellent. Their timekeeping was good and they were always positive and cheerful. It was easy to make contact with the office and they were always helpful. An exceptional care company.

Bluebird Care (Bournemouth) provided my Mum with the very best of care. She was treated with dignity and respect and enjoyed socially interacting with your friendly staff. From the beginning of the setting up process, when dealing with management, to the actual period of care, my sisters and I felt Mum was in very capable hands.
