All the carers are kind and caring. However it is difficult for them as I often have someone who hasn't seen to me previously and it takes time for them to know my routine. Even though I may have received a schedule, the time and person who arrives is frequently different from the schedule. Only very occasionally am I notified of the change.

My wife and I have been very pleased with the experience. We have a carer for one hour each morning to give my wife a wash and get her downstairs.
The carers usually have a lively and friendly approach. I can hear them laughing and joking and comparing family news.
Two disadvantages have emerged.
1. Uncertainty about when the carer will come is a disadvantage. I wake my wife at 08.30 am, get her hearing aids in, prepare her clothes, and leave her waiting. The waiting time can range from 30 minutes to over an hour. We had one bad experience when the carer arrived at 08.10 am; the shock of this disoriented my wife and distressed her.
2. The Bluebird management have promised to let us have the weekly schedule of carers and arrival times but this has not so far worked out well.

Bluebird Care Epsom & Kingston were very responsive when we needed a care package to enable a discharge from hospital. All of the staff have been helpful and provided the right type of care for my husband. They have all been sensitive to my needs.

Generally very good. We could not manage without Bluebird. I live far away from my Godmum and she has no relations, so her carers are very important. It must be very hard to be a full-time live-in carer!

Bluebird Care Agency employ some very kind, efficient and experienced care workers. They have been an immense help to my father and greatly supported his recovery. However, sadly the efficiency of the schedule is very poor. I have needed to phone in many times about this. The poor scheduling has given my father a lot of undue stress and upset. This needs serious and urgent assessment.

Thorough, patient and helpful with bathroom washing duties and particularly with the washing of hair. Carers are always cheerful and chatty.

The agency was really good at communication.. the care was all good and caring.. no issues at all with the agency.. 100% content... The agency helped us look after mum whilst we decided on options. I am a good judge of care as I am a qualified nurse.
Bluebirds were very professional and efficient, carrying out an assessment of my mother's needs. The carer is very good at looking after my mother who has advanced dementia and can be very challenging. Bluebirds also provide care notes of every visit which are very helpful at determining if there are any issues.

Bluebird came to the rescue! We needed care for my Father within days and I felt very stressed by the situation. I telephoned Bluebird and I felt a huge weight lift from my shoulders, as the administration team were so helpful and efficient. They had a care package (a complex one as my Father needs full personal care) up and running within days. The carers give thorough care, they are respectful and kind and they take time to interact with my Father. They are on time and they stay the full length of time too. He has noticeably improved since having them and has regained his dignity.
I would certainly recommend this home care company.
Bluebirds looked after my mother during the last fifteen months of her life. I was recommended to use the agency by medical professionals who were supporting Mum. The introduction process was friendly but professional with information recorded and shared. The carers themselves were absolutely lovely. Mum was initially quite reluctant, not wanting to admit that she needed this help, but they soon won her round and became friends. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and when my visits coincided with a carer’s visit, there was always much laughter. I felt very confident that she was being well cared for and would especially want to thank her main carer. When she unexpectedly became much more ill in the autumn, Bluebirds were incredibly helpful and organised extra daytime care and a carer to stay overnight all within a few hours of my request for help. This made it possible for Mum to stay at home as she wished. All the carers who came in those last few days were amazing.
Staff at Bluebird Sutton have done a fantastic job in caring for a lady who has been bedbound for the past three years. As well as being kind and caring, and always reliable, they even helped with looking after her pet bird, helping the lady feel reassured that he was clean and well-fed. It has been easy to work with the office to make arrangements and I would not hesitate to use their services again.
Nothing was too much bother, and everything was explained very clearly.
