Bluebird has looked after both my parents over the last 12 years. The care provided was both self and social services funded. Dealing with Bluebird was always easy. They are simple to contact and straightforward to talk to. They always went the extra mile to make sure that my dad was fine and rang me, chemist, doctors, paramedics and the ambulance services. To ensure they were safe. If problems arose and visits were late or missed. The team rang or one of the supervisors would pop in to cover the call. The care gave me a great deal of confidence in them allowing me to go away on holidays without worrying anything was going to be missed. All in all the best money ever spent on my parents, giving my parents independence and peace of mind that a safety net was there if they needed.

My mum has been a Bluebird Care Customer for nearly 20 years (it could be possibly more). But reflecting on recent life experiences she has encountered I have to say the team of always been very supportive. It cannot be easy as a carer to move from client to client with some type of restricted timescale however, at no point has my mum ever felt rushed or left alone because something hasn’t gone completely right in her care plan. Life is not one smooth transition, but the carers that have gone to my mums over many years have always made sure that things run as smoothly as possible for her during the time of their care with her.

As well as support with washing, ironing, and changing bedding, they give my parents the ability to continue with activities outside the home, such as shopping and appointments which especially helps with my mum's mental health. The carers are patient, supportive and provide social interaction. My parents now think having carers is a great idea and speak very highly of them all.

Staff are always polite and respectful and go out of their way to ensure my dad gets the care he needs. They feed back to me any problems they encounter so that we can come up with a workable solution and implement as soon as possible. I have found the team to be caring and go the extra mile if needed.

Sam joined us as assistant Care Co-ordinator for Cannock in 2012 and has excelled in all aspects of her role. She then got the job of Care Co-ordinator for Bluebird Care at our South Staffs office. Sam has completed her NVQ levels 2 & 3 in Health and Social Care and has achieved a management qualification. Sam has also completed her NVQ level 5 Management. Sam then moved back to Cannock with a new job role of Quality & Compliance Officer for the Mid Staffs and South Staffs Branches in 2016. Sam has now been promoted to Care Manager for Bluebird Care Mid Staffs. Sam is now working closely with Allen to ensure we deliver a high standard of care to all of our customers and that Bluebird care continues to stay compliant in all areas. Sam is also the trainer for Basic Life Support, Dementia and End-of-life Care.
Emma has been working in the care industry since 1997 & joined us as Senior Care Supervisor at Stafford in 2010, being promoted to care manager for Cannock in 2011. Her nurturing style and commitment to high quality have always been central to her role. Emma has been responsible for the high quality of care we deliver, as well as managing the office and care worker teams. The opportunity arose for Emma to take on a new challenge, within Bluebird Care and in 201,6 she became our Business Development Manager with her goal set to develop and grow the business, looking at our services for the future. Emma holds many qualifications, including the PTTLS training qualification & level 5 leadership in Health & Social Care.
Amy originally joined Bluebird Care in May 2017 as a Care Assistant, working across domiciliary care and supporting customers with learning disabilities – an area she is deeply passionate about. Her skills and dedication quickly shone through, leading to her progression within the company.
Amy is well respected by both colleagues and customers for her warm, positive nature and commitment to going above and beyond in everything she does. She has also achieved NVQ Levels 2, 3 and 5 in Health and Social Care, reflecting her professionalism and commitment to providing high-quality care.
Tammy joined Bluebird Care in 2020, beginning her career journey as a Care Assistant. Within that, she demonstrated reliability and passion and was promoted to Field Care Supervisor in 2024. In her role as Field Care Supervisor, Tammy is responsible for carrying out customer assessments and reviews, and creating personalised, person-centred care plans to ensure each individual receives the highest standard of care. She also mentors and supports our care team, helping them to build confidence and competence in their roles. Tammy is deeply passionate about her work and brings a naturally caring and compassionate approach to everything she does.
Hayley joined Bluebird Care in 2017, beginning her career as a Care Assistant. Through her reliability, dedication and passion for providing excellent care, she progressed within the company and is now a valued Field Care Supervisor.
In her role, Hayley carries out customer assessments and reviews, developing personalised, person-centred care plans to ensure every customer receives the highest quality of support.
