I have found the communication between team leaders (especially Liz, who did initially assessment) the staff at Telford Office and myself, very professional and helpful .. My elderly mom has visits 4x daily and initially she found it difficult getting to know so many new carers and didn't always accept certain staff. .. However through communication with Liz and main office, this was rectified within a short period of time and continues to be that way .. Staff are very caring and tolerant of an elderly persons nature which can be unpredictable at times, especially early mornings .. They communicate with the next person on duty if they have to relay anything and record as per requirements of that set duty.. To be able to see notes is an asset, especially when living away from mom .. Allows family to see and then address any issues on that day .. We have nothing but positives to say about your company.. Thank you all for the difficult job you all do in to caring for our Mom .
After changing provider to this company, ww cannot fault the service. The only minor negative thing we can raise, is we would prefer to have continuity of carers, who we like and get on with, as we can relate to some who we have good relationships with,more than others. The service is good and we would recommend this company. On a,whole, visit times are,adhered to, and support is good.
Daughter of an elderly lady with cognitive impairment. My mum has been having carers in four times each day to assist with making meals, changing beds and personal care . Mum has blossomed over the last six months, she is so much happier and relaxed and looks forward to seeing "her girls", every day. Sentinel have been providing carers for an elderly male friend, who was suddenly left to cope independently due to his wife's illness. The individuals involved in his care have been wonderful - ensuring he takes care of himself, whilst also helping him with domestic chores that he might otherwise have overlooked. They (nicely) nag him when necessary, and after his initial reluctance to have carers, he now enjoys having a chat and appreciates the company and care given to him. The office staff have proven to be really helpful and flexible when needed, and also use their initiative to advise me of any concerns they have. When we were first looking for carers I was very worried, having read all of the horror stories - thank goodness another user pointed me in the direction of Sentinel - the support they have given has been amazing.
The care provided to my Dad has been of the highest order, and extended above & beyond the call of duty. We are comfortable that Dad is being looked after and that is well being is paramount at all times. It's greatly appreciated by us as a family.

This is a very good company. They have professional carers and a friendly, helpful office team. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble and we were very grateful for all their help, support and patience.
On the last month of Wyn's life, the carers came in and they treated her with kindness laughed with her treated her like she was a human being and not just an old lady in a bed. Wyn last week the girls excelled with kindness and graciousness and treated her with the most respect. She was treated with dignity the whole of the time. and the one thing that melted my heart even when asleep they spoke to her and told her exactly what they were going to do.. we wasn't with them very long but the whole time that we were there I found the girls professional, caring, kind and considerate .
