This care team care for my mother-in-law! They are so caring and if I needed care personally they would be who I’d pick. Thank you for all you do, we don’t know where we would be without you guys. They go above and beyond for her and us!
Reserve teams do their best, as often drafted in at the last minute. They need to be guided as to what works best for me.
Workload for the regular team is often very heavy. Look after your precious staff!
Have been caring for my mother with dementia for just over 6 months and all I can say is I don’t know how the company is still going. The care plan is not adhered to, timekeeping is absolutely disgusting, we as a family have cameras outside the house for our mother’s safety and carers should be there for 45 mins and very very rarely are they there for that length of time, the majority don’t even stay 15 minutes. We are entrusting our mothers care in their hands and we are disgusted by the lack of care actually given. Mum has a cleaner that goes in a couple of times a week and she is picking up the slack of the carers which is not acceptable, we appreciate she is looking out for our mother and fully appreciate everything she does but she is not the carers so not her responsibility. I will add that from our experience there is only 1 carer who goes above and beyond our care plan and when she attends we don’t need to go behind her and check. Carewatch should be renamed ad lack of Carewatch!
Carewatch has everything to be proud of. The service they provide is/was exemplary. They were able to put users/clients at ease from day one. They were fully professional in all aspects of the service but also showed a friendly and social side to their contact. It was obvious that the office staff were as keen as the active carer workers to provide and maintain this service and the provision of care equipment was amazing.
The carers often went the extra mile to support and help me. Thank you so much for all your help.
What lovely feedback! We are so happy we could help you get back on your feet! Best wishes - Carewatch Thames Valley
Carewatch is not at all managed well, when I had a complaint it was never followed up, no phone call or anything.
Carers were always either late or too early this was because management ignored the times I requested and there was a couple of times when a carer didn't even show up, no apologies, again no phone call. I would not recommend this company at all. Also, certain carers did not show respect or give my mum time they rushed her. Due to this, I have had to change care company and it was the best thing I could have done
I have been dealing with the shoddy management of this company over many months. They are not a good company to entrust a relatives care to. I am not permitted to explain my reasons mentioned above but have complained to the Royal Borough, CQC and the local MP. There is a distinct lack of leadership and direction. If you love and care for your family members steer well clear of this company.
