The staff at Care Wyvern have been extremely helpful and caring. They manage to put my mother at ease and are very nice to her whilst completing all tasks efficiently and making sure all her needs are met. Mum loves all the staff and enjoys their visits. They help to motivate her to maintain high standards of hygiene and always provide plenty of food and drink. Mum generally benefits from the service Care Wyvern provides and without their hard work, patience and kindness it would be unlikely Mum would be able to remain in her own home.

My brother has poor mobility and is not always willing to do what the carers ask him, so they have to be patient and creative to maintain a positive and happy environment for him.

I’ve been with Care Wyvern for 10+ years and some of the carers have been coming for that long. They’ve proven to be friendly but also professional and any issue I may have had has been dealt with swiftly and in confidence. I now use the app to check my scheduled visits and carers, along with my personal care notes which is very simple, effective and up to date.

How wonderful and refreshing in this day and age to have such a fantastic service to the needy. Nothing was ever too much trouble, not once did the company let my mum down. I was kept fully informed and up to date on any ongoing or new concerns that were happening. The office staff were hands-on and always there for help and advice and always knew what was going on. It's without question my mum stayed in her home as long as she did thanks to Care Wyvern.

Any issues are dealt with fairly well by the supervisor with only a few problems with regards to communication between the company and myself/GP. Other providers need to take note.
The doubling up of note-taking is a little time consuming but the carers are always chatting and try to include the patient whilst they do that. I have no problem with things being recorded on paper as it enables me and the patient to check things when a problem arises. Other providers need to take note.
I hope they don't change anything about their service as it is excellent as it stands. And yes, other providers need to take note.

Some of the carers are more on the ball than others, things like replacing lids, wiping out the commode, making sure mum has her teeth in, pulling the curtains and making the bed.

I have been here on several occasions when the carer has been here (different ones). They are mainly very professional and caring but with only 30 minutes with my mother, I am a bit dismayed to find that they spend (at least) 10 minutes of every visit writing notes and then writing them again on their mobiles (or whatever they are). I know it is necessary to record but twice seems excessive when they could do more for the client - or even chat more.
