The service from this provider is excellent. They are extremely professional but also friendly to my aunt. The company are very flexible and respond to service time changes quickly and efficiently. My aunt recently went in hospital and on her discharge the company immediately resumed her scheduled service
times. We couldn't wish for a better service. Many thanks Careline.

The Client had the service put in place in February 2025 after a spell in hospital and convalescence. The Client is visited twice each day to ensure medications are taken and food is eaten. The Client is not always sure what is going on but likes 'the ladies' who visit. The Client is not always willing
to go out even when a trip has been arranged but the Home Carers handle this situation with calmness and kindness. They are always paying attention to how the Client is presenting and, if worried, will call me to advise. I do not live anywhere near the Client so these phone calls are terribly important. On the occasions that the Home Carers have arrived at the Client's home and I have been visiting they have always been very pleasant and have introduced themselves properly. I have been impressed with the care taken to help the Client.

My mum has been cared by Northern community carers for around 2 years +, they do a great job looking after my mum who has 4 visits a day, helping her get dressed, showers, meals, laundry, even calling for her some milk when iv been unable to call, the girls have become friends to my mum, and she
enjoys her little chats with them.
Any problems or concerns they've always contacted me.
When I go on holiday, I know my mum is being well looked after.

I have two carers every morning for an hour and 20 minutes they get out of bed take me into the bathroom. I have a navigation for my bowels. They was trained to do the irrigation by Nurse and they do that every morning. I have a shower once a week and when I do not shower, they give me a really good
wash every morning. They do my personal care with dignity and care. They check my skin all over to make sure I have no sores then cream me all over my body, then dress me top half bring me into the bedroom with my bottom mouth and put me in my wheelchair. Make sure I have everything and comfort for the day. I have a carer at dinner time to do my dinner and bedtime. I have two carers they undress me get my night clothes on if I need to wash they will wash me put me into bed. Make sure I'm very comfy for the night, and I have got everything once again the overall care is outstanding.

Mainly I am quite satisfied with the care my wife receives most of the time, obviously some combinations are better than others, but that's just the way things are today. I am very grateful for the pressure the carers take off me (and my back) and I have to say the carers are very friendly.

My Mum has care every morning, some lunchtimes and teatimes and occasional bedtimes. All of the staff are so helpful and as well as providing personal care and helping with meals, all the staff encourage my mum to be as independent as possible which is what we want as a family. So she can continue to
live at her home.
My mum loves her regular carers and looks forward to them attending and taking the time to chat to her as well as seeing to her needs both personal and making meals.
We as a family appreciate all the support every carer and office staff from Community Careline Services we would not be able to look after my mum in her own home without all there support.
Kind Regards

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.867 for Northern Community Careline Services is calculated as follows: ( (39 Excellents x 5) + (6 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 45 Ratings = 4.867

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Northern Community Careline Services is based on 8 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 4.8
