I required a care agency at very short notice for my mother as I needed to go overseas. I searched around for a few agencies and was recommended Golders Green Nursing Agency from an experienced social worker friend, following the agency caring for her grandmother. The agency was excellent, they responded extremely quickly, allocated an exceptional live-in carer for my mother and had all the paperwork in place very swiftly. The live-in carer was great, they had a lovely time together and I was kept regularly updated. It all worked out perfectly and I am very very very grateful for the agency being so responsive and providing my mother such excellent care. If I could afford to, I would use their live-in care team permanently. Although I am sure I will require their services again in the future and will have no hesitation to contact them.

The director responded right away to my enquiry from hospital and worked with the NHS ward closely to ensure I had everything I needed to be safely discharged - it was complicated due to NHS policy/compliance and not easy and he understood how urgent the situation was and prioritised getting me home with all the right medication and equipment.

The IV specialist nurse was exceptional. Totally reliable, always on time, incredibly friendly and personable and also very knowledgeable and very professional. There is nothing about delivering IV medicine that she did not know and she also very patiently explained and answered our questions. She ensured that I always felt cared for and worked around our schedule to ensure that we felt comfortable. I'll not miss having an IV line in my arm and daily drugs but as a family we will miss her who we always enjoyed seeing each day. I would highly recommend GGN and in particular the IV specialist nurse.

Thank you for once again providing me with a wonderful carer, following a bad car crash, at very short notice over the Easter weekend. It would be difficult to overstate the difference it made to myself, and all my family who were away at the time. Peace of mind for us all.

My sister and I engaged the Golders Green Nursing Agency to look after both our late parents at different times under the excellent leadership skills of the owner/manager and her wonderful team.
We feel very fortunate that both our elderly parents were able to remain in their own home during their final years, and the carers treated them with the utmost kindness, compassion, dignity and respect that we could have wished for and we have no doubt that the feelings were mutual.
This was a very sensitive and crucial time and we greatly appreciate all the care and attention given.
My sister, the family and I would have no hesitation in recommending Golders Green Nursing Agency to families looking after their loved ones in their later years.

Many thanks.

Wow - what amazing personalised care my relative has been receiving for many years from the owner/manager and her wonderful team. Despite dementia taking a firm hold of my aunt the carers have adapted their care to fully meet her needs and delivered it in the most kind and compassionate manner, always going above and beyond. 24/7 care delivered with the utmost dignity and respect from the fabulous team at Golden Green Nursing Agency has meant my aunt can remain in her own home. The leadership is simply amazing - always available and taking a personal and involved approach with both my aunt and myself. Golden Green Nursing Agency without doubt deliver the finest care and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them. We will forever be indebted.

Overall Experience

Two years ago my mother needed 24 hour care. Golders Green Nursing was recommended to us by a number of people in the medical industry. During the last two years, staff has provided not only the most excellent level of care staff, but also personally has always gone above and beyond. Whether it is helping with medical appointments/prescriptions, even collecting prescriptions from the local pharmacy, or just being on the end of the phone at any time to give advice and support, we as a family have really appreciated her dedication. She also provided the most amazing carers for my mum, who would not only look after her direct care needs but also keep an eye on my father and give advice and support to all of us. We could not have dealt with any of this without Golders Green Nursing. I would recommend them without hesitation.

We are a proud family-run business, led by Claudia Alexander, a Registered General Nurse who specialises in Coronary Care and Care of the Elderly and has over 40 years of nursing experience.

Claudia also became aware that, since many of the clients would be elderly and housebound, a more personal approach would be appreciated. To this end, each client is visited regularly to ensure standards are being maintained, and the Agency keeps in constant contact via telephone to check all is running smoothly.
