Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that we are not responsible for testing next of kin who do not reside with our service users. We also assist with booking tests for vulnerable service users when this is expressly requested if they show symptoms – this is not the case here. The test kits are for our staff alone. In delivering these kits to you; we are going above and beyond in assisting your family get tested.

I can only apologise that you felt you experienced inadequate care with Hartwig Care. Having carers attend visits at the wrong time is completely unacceptable and I can reassure you that this case is being taken very seriously by senior management.
Following this review, as you are aware, we have had extensive phone calls with yourself and aim to achieve the highest level of care for your family member.
As a company, we have removed carers that you were unhappy with and will work closely with yourself to ensure that all care workers visiting your family member report to the care manager if they are running late. Also, our monitoring team have been informed to include this package of care on their watch list.
For further concerns, we will arrange a one to one with the care manager.
