My mother who is 96 was often left until after lunch to be washed/dressed and in the evening was sometimes left until 9-10 at night and has been left out on occasions. When phoning would be told by the manager, you can do it. Have had carers go off with keys and not shut the door properly. Manager promises you everything but does not deliver - very incompetent! Lodge care withdrew from our area in February and was the best thing to happen! We now have a new provider who is on time, competent with a regular carer.
My mum has been left in bed to 11 o'clock and sometimes later, where they should be there at 9 am, sometimes they don't turn up, so no food nothing to drink and she has missed her morning pills, and today in bed to 1.30 pm,1st of May.
I have phoned many times. I have heard every excuse under the sun, you phone, they don't answer and when you do get through never phone you back.
And some days they don't even turn up but they take your money.
The worst company I have been with. I would not recommend to anyone.

I am passionate and driven to provide the best services possible to the service users we support.
I am one small part of a big team that makes being one of the best agencies in HAVERING possible.

Everybody here at Lodge Group is super friendly and makes coming to work fun.

My name is Sharon Waller and I am a Recruitment Officer at Lodge Group Care. What I really love about my role is making a difference in people’s lives by recruiting people who I feel have a passion for care and can help support vulnerable clients in their homes. In my spare time, I like to travel, eat out and socialise with friends.

Chloe takes great pride in supporting her service users to achieve their goals and live life to the fullest. She’s also a whizz on computers and innately creative, always coming up with great ideas to improve care delivery and putting them into practice. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym, socialising with friends and having quality family time.
Here’s what Chloe has to say:
“I feel my job is very rewarding and I love helping people. My role has given me many different skills.”

Katie provides high-quality training to our carers ensuring they have the skills they need to deliver excellent care. When she isn’t busy training up our team, she enjoys spending time with her children and family.
Here’s what Katie has to say:
“I like the satisfaction when you have helped someone. I love training and feeling like I have upskilled staff around me. I work with a great team.”

Karen has been a part of the Lodge Group family since 2016. She began working at Lodge Group as a domiciliary carer and now has over 15 years of experience in health & social care. She began as a carer with Lodge Group before becoming our Payroll & Compliance Administrator in 2025. Dineke thoroughly enjoys working in health & social care and always wants to ensure our clients are receiving the best care possible. She is heavily involved in ensuring our carers are following company policy and practising a high level of conduct.
