Crossroads offers personalised care and support packages to help you to stay in your own home for as long as possible.

Care is person-centred and can be provided to people of all ages, disabilities and health conditions, 24 hours daily, with access to emergency support.

If you live in Sandwell or the surrounding areas, the team of Care Support Workers can provide tailor-made, flexible support to meet your individual needs. This can include:

- Personal care & rehabilitation support
- Meal preparation
- Help with shopping and chores in the home
- Support with taking medication
- Companionship
- Help to get out and about to socialise or to attend hospital or GP visits
- Respite breaks
- Palliative care
- Night sits

Their services can be accessed in a variety of ways. They are able to advise you if you are self-funding or eligible for statutory funding to cover care costs.

Crossroads also offers a Day Club which strives to support the health and wellbeing of people who require care as well as their family carers. A skilled team of Crossroads Care Support Workers are on hand at the Day Club to assist people with mealtimes and toileting needs if required.

The Day Club is held on the first Wednesday of each month from 10am - 3pm at The Oak Tree Centre.

The hourly care fee of £28.00 is for daytime visits, during the week (Monday - Friday). Please note that our pricing will vary depending on evenings/nights/weekends/bank holidays. Prices correct as of April 2025 and may be subject to review periodically.


Our services can be accessed in a variety of ways. We are able to advise you if you are self-funding or eligible for statutory funding to cover the costs of your care. Please do not hesitate to contact us for advice if you are in need of a care package for yourself or a family member.

Could not be more happy with the service provided by the carers, would highly recommend to anyone. I am very grateful for the support I have received.
With the support me and my wife received, enabled me to see friends, complete gardening, shopping and have some much needed 'me time'.

I would like to say thank you to all the team at Crossroads. My mother has on set of dementia and although I had worked within in the care industry many years ago, I found it very hard to making right decisions for mom. I'm so grateful for the support mom and I received. Staff were kind, trustworthy,
always on time and always tidied up before they left. I know mom really enjoyed their visit's, thank you so much.

My husband received 6 weeks of respite breaks.
It was a relief that I could go out and do what I needed or wanted to do without having to worry about him falling and injuring himself while I was out. He has frontotemporal dementia. The sitter did some exercises and other activities with him and made
lunch as explained to her by me beforehand. I really was and am appreciative of the scheme as a taster for longer term planning for the future.

My wife has early-onset Alzheimer's disease, we tried a care home and a day centre respite these did not work well for my wife, she could not cope with the number of people there.
From the visit from a member of staff to carry out an assessment of our needs to the actual visit of our carer. They have
been friendly, caring, and professional.
I was getting very tired with the stress of caring for my wife and needed a rest. When our carer arrived she was brilliant with my wife and knew how to handle her mistrust. Just after two weeks (3 hours a day, three times a week) the wife is happy to see her and she is enjoying their time together. The wife's attitude to everything has improved.
I feel 100% better and happier in myself and I'm able to care for my wife with less stress.
I can highly recommend Crossroads.

This has been an invaluable lifeline to allow me to have time out from giving my husband 24-hour care.
The team of carers have been lovely, caring, and compassionate, giving good feedback when I return home. They will be sadly missed.

With Mom suffering from dementia, it's important for her to feel comfortable with her carers and up to date. Crossroads are fulfilling Mom's needs and she has got to know them as well as can be expected considering her condition.
We are kept up to date with any issues or concerns which is a comfort
and reassuring to us.

Crossroads has changed my dad's life. Always reliable, kind, patient and professional. Can't rate it highly enough. Care involves the administration of medicine and eye drops, contacting relevant agencies and having a chat.

I chose Crossroads to help care for my elderly dad as one of my neighbours had used them in the past and was impressed with them. I like the fact that they keep in touch with me regarding the care of my dad. The carers are always punctual and polite. They are very patient and understanding of Dad's
needs.
If ever I need a question answered it is promptly done. I am so pleased with the way the care company is run and would highly recommend their service to anyone that needs help however small or large. Thank you Crossroads for all that you do.

Crossroads are an exceptional service and have been very person-centred in their approach to meeting my mother's needs. Older people are very private when it comes to their care needs. The team have gained the trust and built and continues to build a great interpersonal relationship with my mother.
The caters are always respectful and compassionate in their interactions with my mother. She really looks forward to them coming. The care coordinator keeps you updated on any changes and holds regular reviews of care. Nothing is too much trouble and referrals are sent as soon as there are any changes in care needs. They have referred for physio, and OT equipment, they make contact with the family and update you as necessary. They care for cultural needs and all of the team truly provide a seamless service.

All carers that came to look after my dad were great. Each and every one of the girls made a point to talk to him at all times and do everything at his pace whilst visiting, from the time they entered home to the time they left, and that means a lot. Feedback was always given to my mom on them leaving
the premises. He would have banter with them when he was feeling up to it. Overall, cannot fault the care the team provided - each of them is caring, and that comes across in their personalities. The most important thing you want for your loved ones is to be looked after with the care they deserve in their time of life. Professional and very sociable.

Crossroads have been providing care for my mother since September last year. They are our fifth care company and have been like a breath of fresh air. The care she has received from all of her regular carers has been excellent and she has developed a lovely relationship with them. They make such an
effort to understand her and adapt to her needs. Any issues raised are dealt with efficiently and effectively. I feel all members involved in my mother's care work as a team. They also work closely with me to ensure she receives the best possible care to enable her to remain in her own home. I couldn't ask for a better care agency.
