I would like to say a big thank you to all the ladies that have cared for my mum over the past few years. You all do a fantastic job. I have met some of my mum's carers and they are truly dedicated to their job and go above and beyond to look after my mum.
My mum is so very fond of all of them and
we are very lucky to have such an amazing team looking after her. I can’t thank you all enough.

SCA Care have been providing care for my mother for the past six months. Over this time we have had no concerns over the service my mother is receiving.
Whenever contact has been made with staff our requests have always been dealt with as expeditiously as possible.
My mother was recently taken out
by staff for a bit of pampering as a Birthday surprise which she thoroughly enjoyed.
The carers who attend to my mother are all polite and efficient.

The Carers provide good care for my mum and they have built up a good relationship with her. So much so that when they were unable to provide her half an hour care package, she was keen to find a way around it so she could keep the same agency.

My parents are happy with the cleaning service provided. My dad says 'we just let her get on with it, we don't know what she is doing'. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but I wonder if now and again they could be informed, especially when something out of the ordinary needs doing that the cleaner
has identified.

However, saying that, we have no reasons to be dissatisfied with the service provided.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.727 for SCA Care (Southampton) is calculated as follows: ( (16 Excellents x 5) + (6 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 22 Ratings = 4.727

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for SCA Care (Southampton) is based on 4 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 = 4.25
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
