I am so lucky to have Shepshed Carers looking after my parents; they are an absolute godsend. Handing over their care to strangers was very hard initially, as I thought, only I could do it properly; how wrong was I! Mum and Dad now regard all the girls as friends and having different faces to chat to really gives Mum a lift. They've established a routine for them that I couldn't possibly have done. They are professional, respectful and 'human'. My father is a difficult person to deal with, but they have the measure of him and know just how to sort him out. They keep me up to date about any issues that they notice, and we work together to keep Mum and Dad safe and happy. I cannot praise them high enough. It's also been so helpful for myself to be able to pop into the office to chat and download with someone who understands when things get on top of me.
We are pleased with the care given to our aunt and the compassion shown. Suggestions made by the carers are appreciated greatly and make life easier. Carers are adaptable and friendly and can be relied upon totally. Noting is too much trouble. When necessary, they contact us, which is invaluable. Many thanks.
The services they provide are excellent. Not just caring but doing shopping, cleaning, laundry etc. Always approachable for advice. Very friendly staff.
I live with my mother and have Shepshed Carers visit her three times daily. The patience, compassion and respect they show her at every visit are such a comfort to me. She looks forward to each and every visit. I am in complete awe of the way they make her feel so important and valued. Mum says her life has never been so good as it is now. Shepshed Carers can take credit for this. I consider myself and mum very lucky to have them in our lives.
Excellent service all-round from the admin staff to the team of carers. Always very approachable about any issues and accommodating in resolving any special requests. Always very grateful to receive messages via the admin staff or carers about things I need to act upon regarding my aunt's requirements.
My father has had carers from Shepshed Carers visit daily for four years. They are fab, and they are courteous, kind, helpful, caring and respectful of all of my dad's needs. They keep me updated on any problems, falls etc, and as his daughter, I do want to be kept informed. All in all, they are absolutely awesome.
Despite the pandemic and what must have been a horrendous time for care providers, my mum has received a consistent quality of care. Thank you to everyone involved in my mum’s care.
They have been the ultimate professionals starting from the first phone call to the office asking for help (we have used them a few years ago for another family member). To the original first call to talk through what they could do and what we felt we needed,
Now the service is in place, Mum is finding everyone very friendly and understanding of her needs and treating Mum with great dignity and respect with a lovely balance of being friendly and very helpful. We have peace of mind knowing that Mum now doesn’t have to struggle with certain aspects of self-care.
I would highly recommend Shepshed Carers if you or any member of your family need any support or assistance.
The carers are kind and considerate, and my mother is very comfortable with them. She looks forward to them going. They provide the care necessary, and she is eating much better with their encouragement. She is much brighter in herself.
The caring team look after Mum twice a day am-pm. Although she insists she does not need them and can be irritable, they always treat her well and with dignity. With onset dementia, I'm glad Mum gets so well looked after. It's peace of mind for the family.
They do an excellent job ensuring Mum is helped with her personal care, and when Mum’s medication ran out, they even went to the pharmacy to collect them ensuring she didn’t miss a day! Everything on the care plan is done daily.
Prompt and efficient.
An excellent, professional, friendly service from all concerned with the business. The carers and admin staff are very good and very approachable about any queries and requests.
I have had Shepshed Carers for the last 10-years. They are excellent. They look after me and take me out twice a week. We go shopping and out for lunch. They take me to have my hair cut, to the dentist and opticians.
All the carers are amazing. They take great care of my mum; nothing is too much trouble. The amount of work they have to fit into their allocated time is a real challenge, but they never fail to deliver. My mum was worried about having to have carers come into her home every day, but she is really happy with the way they take care of her. We would not be able to cope without each and every one of them. Thanks.
I am very happy with my experience with Shepshed carers. The carers are very friendly and always will suggest something they could do if they haven't filled their allowed time. My experience with the office is excellent. Questions are answered immediately, and payments easy.
My father has received excellent care from Shepshed Carers, over the last two and a half years. They have looked after him in a professional but friendly way and I would have no hesitation in recommending their standard of care to anyone seeking a reliable and very satisfactory care company.
